Start with picnic provisions Pick up supplies from Char-CUTE-rie by Bohemian Picnics on 7th Avenue at 58th St. - perfect for a delicious spread in the park. Picnic in Sheep Meadow or the Great Lawn Find a sunny spot and enjoy your treats with views of the city skyline. Walk to Bethesda Terrace & Fountain Stroll through the heart of the park and take in the iconic views and architecture. Pop into a Nearby Museum The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Frick Collection, Guggenheim, Cooper Hewitt (east side) and the American Museum of Natural History (west side) are just steps from the park. Whether you’re picnicking, strolling, or museum-hopping, it’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon in the city.

Classic New York bagels, egg sandwiches, and plenty of schmear - perfect for a quick grab-and-go before heading into the city (or back to bed). Liberty Bagels Midtown 5th Ave & 58th St Hand-rolled bagels with fun cream cheese flavors (try the bacon scallion or birthday cake!). Close by, and great for a casual, satisfying breakfast. Ess-a-Bagel 831 3rd Ave (at 51st St) A bit of a trek and usually a line, but absolutely worth it. Big, chewy bagels, tons of spread options, and one of NYC’s most beloved institutions.

Suggested Route (North to South) Hudson Yards (Enter at 34th & 11th Ave) Start with the Vessel and shops at Hudson Yards. Chelsea Market (Exit at 16th St) A foodie haven - grab coffee, snacks, or lunch at this iconic indoor market. Little Island (Exit at 14th & 10th Ave) A unique floating park on the Hudson River with great landscaping & views. The Whitney (Exit at Gansevoort St) Just steps from the southern end of the High Line, the Whitney features modern and contemporary American art.
