Quintessentially Catskills, Homestedt is a small shop in Livingston Manor that makes you feel instantly cozy. Stop in for a sweater or an assortment of home goods. The owners, Tom and Anna, are some of the big drivers of Livingston Manor and now North Branch with their renovation of the North Branch Cider Mill!

The Walk In

YOU MUST GET A BISCUIT HERE IF YOU HAVE NOT BEFORE!!! Absolutely incredible, don't sleep on the biscuit of the week. Have this be the start to a great morning (or afternoon) in Livingston Manor. If you come at night it is also a restaurant and bar "The Stumble Out" with a NYC quality menu. If you are crunched for time, The Neon Croissant across the street is their bakery and they have amazing treats as well. *women owned!

Dette Flies

The oldest family run fly shop in the world! Come see what drew Mitchell to the area in the first place, get lost in the aisles of flies and supplies, and be sure to ask about the conditions and what's biting! If you've ever wanted to try out Fly Fishing, this is the place to do it! Call to reserve waders, boots and a rod in advance, and they also offer guide services.

Catskill Brewery

Our favorite brewery in the area, a must stop if you're in Livingston Manor! Suggestions/Favorites: Freak Tractor farmhouse ale (Sarah), Devil's Path IPA (Mitchell)

Russell Brook Falls

Our favorite hike within the area, with just a short walk to a beautiful waterfall. Sit by the waterfall or take a quick dip if you are daring!

Upward Brewing Company

Our second favorite brewery in Livingston Manor! It has more space than Catskill Brewery with an impressive lineup as well.

The North Branch Inn

Just 3 minutes down the road from our house, North Branch Inn is a common recluse for us. Stop in for a drink or dinner, and say hello to Caroline and Chef Jake for us!

North Branch Cider Mill

Owned by the same couple who operate Homestedt in Livingston Manor, they have brought back to life an old Cider Mill with plenty of snacks, local products/produce, and home goods.

"A friendly place for nice people" Fantastic restaurant within the Callicoon Hills resort-- great food and drinks!!

The Outside Institute

A lovely store run by Laura Chávez Silverman who is a naturalist in the area who runs hikes and classes to get you more in touch with nature. You can pick up books, tools or trinkets here, or just enjoy the vibe! *women owned!

Catskill Provisions Distillery

Catskill Provisions offers free tastings and an assortment of great cocktails and snacks! Walkable from the Boarding House at Seminary Hill! *women owned!

Callicoon Farmers' Market

SUNDAYS 11AM-2PM, a great assortment of vendors and gets the small town of Callicoon Bustling! Take a croissant to go or try some wine from Eminence Road Farm Winery (Cab Franc Rose if they have it)

Callicoon Wine Merchant

A perfect place to sit in town and enjoy a glass of wine and a snack! Walkable from the Seminary Hill Boarding House.
