Mike Freismuth

Groom

Sarah Smith

Bride

Joe Freismuth

Best Man

Mike's older brother. He was an obvious choice to be the Best Man, not only because they're related but he would be an excellent body guard due to his super secret Ninja skills he has been training to develop the last four years. Mike has looked up to him his whole life and respects him so much he named his dog after him...Nitro.

Natalie Sauer

Maid of Honor

Natalie and Sarah met when Sarah moved out to California, working together at American Golf. A mutual friend introduced them, and after expressing their favorite dinosaurs they realized they just became best friends. Natalie has been an inspirational part of Sarah's career and personal life, and because of her large heart, she was an obvious choice to be Sarah's Maid of Honor.

Zach Johnstone

Groomsman

Zach and Mike have known each other since pre-school. although Mike was a "little shit" (-Patty Johnstone) when he was younger and refused to play in the yard with Zach one day, they still remain friends. Mike and Zach played on the baseball team together through high school, spending countless summer afternoons discussing things that teenagers talk about and won't be mentioned here, not because they're inappropriate, I just don't remember it. Zach still makes the time to put up with Mike's shit when he comes back to Colorado to visit, honestly I'm surprised he said yes to being a groomsman.

Ashley Van Dissel

Bridesmaid

Ashley and Sarah also met working at American Golf together. The first time Sarah worked the Rose Bowl tailgate event with Ashley, she began trying to figure out how to work at the same golf course with her, because she had never seen someone work so hard and have so much fun. Ashley eventually began working at Seacliff Country Club with Sarah, where some people referred to them as the "Dream Team." Ashley is one of the kindest people Sarah has ever met, and has spent the last few months traveling in southeast Asia teaching under privileged children. Although she is doing such an incredible thing she has planned her travels to meet the girls in Nashville before returning home to California.

Jason Brown

Groomsman

Through mutual friends and many house parties in college Jason and Mike quickly became friends. While residing in the wonderful college student community of Rams Village Jason frequently visited Mike's apartment during the winter because his apartment's living area didn't have heat...that is until Mike showed him the wall heater Jason had placed his tv in front of. That may be the only time Mike has ever shown Jason something as he would say is "neat." Jason is another friend that will always make time for Mike when he would come back home to visit, most times unannounced, but Jason would have the Jack and Cokes ready to go.

Nikki Smeins

Bridesmaid

Nikki and Sarah were introduced by Becca during college when they drove back to Fort Collins for Becca to spend the weekend with Nikki at CSU. Thinking at first that each other were a little bit bitchy, they never imagined that they would become so close. A year after meeting Nikki, she transferred to Durango and they all moved into an apartment together. Sharing crazy drunken nights that ended up in laughter, tears, and a lot of mac n' cheese, but always fighting whether Bud Light or Coors Light should be in the fridge. Nikki is Sarah's advocate in everything. Even though Sarah has been a pain in Nikki's ass sometimes by giving out Nikki's phone number to random guys at bars, Nikki will always love Sarah.

Brandon Sims

Groomsman

Brandon and Mike played against each other in high school football, unknown to either of them until they met as Lieutenants together at 1/5, and for a 2 years were in the same Company. Brandon was the XO while Mike was the Weapons Platoon Commander, in Apache Company. Despite arguing with each other over some of the most mundane and ridiculous things, Brandon was Mike's best friend in the Apache Nation, sharing their common hatred for the guys who wore diamonds. "They're not real people" became a commonly shared phrase between the two.

Rebecca Roeber

Honorary Bridesmaid

Becca was Sarah's first forever and true friend at Fort Lewis in Durango. Truly Sarah was the winner out of this friendship, Becca was an art major and she brought out Sarah's creative spirit with tequila and her so called "homework." Becca is an incredible person, who has always placed others before herself. Becca has inspired Sarah to do more for people by going to Africa to help in an orphanage, to walking across Spain, and now going through an intense grad school program. Becca received an unbelievable opportunity in her program, and being the luck they have it was the same weekend as the wedding, but no matter Beccas is with Sarah through this adventure and her silly spirit will be with Sarah on her wedding day.

Matt Galadyk

Groomsman

Matt and Mike met at The Basic School in Quantico as roommates and immediately became the best of friends. Both wanting to be Infantry Officers, they worked together to be better at everything, whether it was studying general military knowledge or writing orders or hiking throughout Quantico, both made sure the other never quit and always looked out for each other, like when Mike left the bar after getting his MOS to go take a shot of Gentleman Jack he had stored in his room. Matt thought he went to go cry and was going console him. After IOC Mike and Matt ended up being in different battalions at 5th Marines, but were on the same deployment schedule, allowing them to live together again for another year as bachelors, as they both began dating their future wives. Hi Taylor!

Jen Layman

Bridesmaid

Sarah was so lucky when Joe Freismuth, brought Jen back into Sarah's life. Jen and Sarah played basketball and golf together in high school but as they moved to college they lost touch. When Joe started dating his best friend Jen, he let the secret slip to Sarah, who couldn't be more excited to spend Freismuth family events with anyone else. Jen is the life of the party, and engages everyone with her genuine love for people and contagious smile. Sarah couldn't be more excited as Jen and Joe are recently engaged and Sarah has another sister in life.

Chris Smith

Groomsman

Mike inherited Chris as a brother through virtue of marrying his younger sister. Sarah first introduced Mike to Chris on their way through Grand Junction on their way home to California after picking up Mike's awesome new truck. Sarah warned Mike about Chris the whole drive through the mountains. Arriving at his door mike was greeted by an absolute mountain of man wearing a fake mullet hair piece. After passing through multiple trials and tribulations that Chris would present to Mike, like shot gunning beers and shooting guns, Chris deemed Mike acceptable to marry his sister.

Jessica Smith

Bridesmaid

Jess came into Sarah's life a few years ago when Chris told Sarah he was bringing a girl to town to meet the family. This had never happened and Sarah was extremely nervous to meet the girl who her brother had fallen for. Five minutes into dinner Sarah understood why Jess would soon become her sister-in-law. Jess is always hilarious, hunts and fishes better than Chris, and shares a love for golf that Sarah has. She has been the best big sister Sarah could ever ask for. She has helped Sarah through so much already and is an inspiration to Sarah as a career woman while being an incredible mom to our niece.

Ken Smith

Father of the Bride

Betsy Smith

Mother of the Bride

Dave Freismuth

Father of the Groom and Officiant

Nancy Freismuth

Mother of the Groom

McKaylan Smith

Flower Girl

Kaylan, or "Big Mac" as Mike likes to call her, is Sarah's and Mike's first niece. You will find her rocking little red boots that her aunt and uncle got for her while in Nashville.

Nitro Freismuth

Ring Bearer

Nitro was adopted from a nice family in San Bernardino, on the way home from the Marine Corps Birthday Ball in Las Vegas. For the rest of the trip back Mike and Sarah thought up names for the new addition to their family. after multiple phone calls to friends and family they decided on Nitro...named after Mike's brother Joe "Nitro" Freismuth.
