Zion National Park offers great hiking and scenic views, with varying degrees of difficulty. For more scenic walks, check out the Riverside Walk and for something more moderate, check out the Canyon overlook trail. Please note, that during the spring season visitors are required to use the shuttle system to explore certain parts of the park. We recommend stopping by the visitor center to get a map and to find parking! A pass is required for each vehicle entering the park. You can either buy a one week pass at the gate for Zion only, or you can buy a National Park Pass for $80 that allows you to any national park in the country for a year. We recommend going with the National Park Pass if you intend on visiting any other parks on your trip out west!
Horseback riding through the Canyon is a great way to see the sights! The Stowe family has done this excursion before and highly recommends it. 1 hour and 3 hour tours are available at $60 and $120 per person.
Renting a bike is a great way to explore Zion National Park! The park is mostly flat so this is a great option for people who want to explore without taking the shuttle.
Springdale, Utah is a quaint mountain town with lots of great shops and restaurants. We highly recommend taking some time in your stay to explore the town!
Stop by this cute cafe and gift shop for some fun souvenirs and to try Springdales iconic Bumbleberry treats!
A great casual Mexican spot! Perfect for casual dining any time of day.
Spotted dog is a great stop if you are looking for a high quality meal in a peaceful setting. Reservations recommended!
A great local coffee shop that is super close to Zion's entrance. We suggest giving one of their specialty lattes a try.
This general store has a deli that is great for grabbing a quick lunch to picnic with! It is within walking distance of the welcome center. Also a great spot to grab any last minute grocery needs as well.
Another great local coffee shop and cafe! They also offer light bites that would be perfect for lunch after a morning in the park.
