It's Really Happening!

Sarah and Max both grew up in Riverside, Ca and attended the same middle school and high school, but never really ran in the same circles. During their senior year of high school they got to know each other better while both participating in student council. Sarah thought Max was kind of a jerk, and Max thought Sarah was kind of stuck up. One magical night in February of 2006 Sarah and some friends were attending a party and she happen to bump into Max outside. The front door to the house was locked and the music was so loud no one could hear them knocking. They ended up having to climb the back fence to get in. Sarah vividly remembers how Max helped her get over the fence and how she thought it was very gentlemanly. They ended up talking the rest of the night and Sarah woke up the next morning knowing something had changed. The next day she told her best friends she had a crush on him, and she has loved him ever since.

Sarah’s Birthday was coming up in February, and she wanted to do it up. Max had planned a day out in Newport with a couple of friends on their boat. The day could not have been more picturesque on that lovely February morning. After their boat ride they were making their way back to the dock when Sarah noticed a yacht with a couple of people on it that looked familiar. She could swear one looked just like her sister Katie and her best friend Hannah, but that couldn’t be. When Sarah looked at Max with a puzzled look on her face, he smiled big at her with a twinkle in his eye. As they came nearer to the dock Sarah could see it actually was her sister and Hannah and not just them but a bunch of her friends. In that same moment of realization Max turned to face Sarah and got down on one knee in their little boat and asked if she'd marry him. Sarah cursed and cried and kissed him. She said, “YES!” And got so excided she took the whole ring box from Max’s hand. Max had planned a grand amazing proposal and she had been totally clueless. They had champagne waiting for them on shore and all the people she loved to share in their celebration.
