Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Because we have chosen an intimate, local to us venue, we are asking guests to refrain from inviting anyone who is not listed on their invitation.

Is there a dress code? Are there colors to avoid?

Answer

While there is no dress code, we invite those in attendance to celebrate by dressing to our "fairytale" theme or wear their "Sunday best" and dress for the January-in-Virginia weather. We are asking that guests avoid wearing plum, blush, ivory, or dusty blue, as these are the colors of the wedding party. Unless you would like to be assigned a job day of... ;P

Will there be transportation from the hotel to the church or the church to the reception?

Answer

No, but there is plenty of parking at both Christ Episcopal and around the country club, so you will have access to your own vehicles if you choose to drive.

Are children allowed at the wedding and reception?

Answer

YES! If you child was listed on your wedding invitation, please feel free to bring them with you! We both feel that our lives would be less full without the laughter and joy that children bring into it. We will have "busy bags" at the venue for during the ceremony if your little one is a fidget-er or needs an activity to stay busy.

Will the reception have an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Drinks on us; hangovers on you. Please drink responsibly.
