What precautions for this era of life called "COVID"?
Answer
Sigh, we really wish (especially Sarah as a nurse) that this COVID era was over ...As we all know, weddings are already stressful and we are PRAYING that this is blown over by the time our wedding comes. That said, we want everyone to not only be healthy, but also comfortable. Additionally, we have family visiting from Canada and we want to be mindful and respectful of how their country is treating this situation. Regardless of personal opinion. We really believe in personal choice and also doing your part in social responsibility with all the craziness of COVID. Lots of you will be traveling from afar and we want everyone to feel comfortable and confident coming to our wedding. We aren't asking people to be vaccinated. We won't be asking people to wear masks because we want to see all of your lovely faces and hug and love on everyone but if you feel more comfortable doing so, definitely feel empowered to do so.

IS THIS A DESTINATION WEDDING?

This is a fully inclusive destination weekend, and with the set up of the 54-acre property and many activities available including trails, lounge furniture, wood-burning fire pits, lawn games, llama and alpaca stable and more, you can treat this as a mini vacation!

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN OUR WEEKEND RESERVATION?

Your wedding reservation includes your entire wedding weekend. You will be provided: Luxury private accommodations for the weekend Meals beginning the evening you arrive through the morning you leave and unlimited drinks and snacks.

Answer
It may be springtime, but it's also the mountains! Temperatures at that time average a high in the 70s and a low in the 40s potentially. All wedding festivities will take place outside, so be sure to pack accordingly.

HOW DO I PAY TO SECURE MY SPOT AT HAWKESDENE FOR THE WEEKEND?

Please go to https://www.hawkesdene.com/guest-payments/ to fill out the payment form, see travel page for more details. Upon processing of your payment, you will get a receipt saying your payment has been processed. Allow 3-4 days business days for payment to process.

DO I HAVE TO STAY THE FULL 3 NIGHTS AT HAWKESDENE?

No, you do not, however we cannot charge based on the number of nights you stay.

CAN I PICK WHAT COTTAGE I STAY IN?
Answer
Unfortunately you can not due to the fact that we have to group families/friends by the number of rooms in each cottage. We will make certain everyone gets appropriate lodging. We will do our best to group people together who know each other BUT our hope and plan is for everyone to become best buds by the time our wedding celebration is over. Plan to add to your real (not just Facebook) friends list :)

Got you covered. There is a spot to include any allergies or dietary restrictions on the online RSVP. We will relay your results to the cooking staff, so that we can accommodate your dietary needs.
