What is the dress code?
Answer
The rehearsal and welcome happy hour are a fun and funky vibe! Wear something colorful or creative! Or if you want to wear a Halloween costume we welcome those vibes too! Keep it fun to kick off the weekend! Both the ceremony and reception are semi-formal! They are both outside. The reception will have outdoor heaters available. Please keep an eye on the weather and bring jackets, coats, shawls etc. as needed!

When should I plan to arrive?
Answer
We are asking that the wedding party, their spouses/partners be here on Friday, Nov 1 for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. We will also be hosting a Welcome Happy Hour at The Hofheimer Building at 7 pm on Friday Nov. 1 that all guests are welcome to attend! More information on events of the weekend can be found in the schedule section of the website!

Where should I plan to stay?
Answer
There are many hotels in the Richmond area. We will have a block of rooms reserved at The Graduate Hotel. There are also airbnbs and Inn's closer to the venue. Please refer to the travel section of our website for additional details on lodging.

Where is the venue? Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?
Answer
The venue, Avonlea Farms, is about 40 minutes west of Richmond in Mineral, VA. Both the ceremony and reception are on the same property and walkable. There will be golf carts provided by the venue if guests need assistance between the ceremony site and reception site.

How will I get to the venue if I stay in Richmond? Will there be parking at the venue?
Answer
You can drive to the venue from Richmond and there is parking at the venue. We will also be providing a bus to take guests to the venue. The bus will pick up guests at The Graduate hotel and take them back to the graduate hotel after the reception. More information can be found about the bus on the schedule section of our website. There will be golf cart attendants transporting all guests from the parking area to the ceremony site.

Can I still take the bus to the wedding if I am not staying at The Graduate?
Answer
Yes! You would just need to make sure you are at The Graduate by the scheduled pick up time in order to be able to get on the bus.

Answer
TACOS baby! One of our favorite spots in Richmond, TBT El Gallo will be catering the reception. Then gelato for dessert from another fav Davvero Gelato!

Are kids allowed at the wedding?
Answer
Although we love all of the little ones in our lives, our wedding will be adults only. Thank you for your understanding!

Yes, drinks on yes! We will also have NA options available :)

Answer
We are asking our guests to RSVP here on our wedding website! On the 'Schedule' page, you can RSVP to all events for the weekend.
