Please arrange for transportation. There is parking available at the Church and venue. After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures at the church and on the beach. Guests can head straight to the reception, where they will be served drinks and hors d’oeuvres during a cocktail hour. The travel time from the ceremony to reception is approximately 1 hour along the coast (feel free to stop and take pictures to soak in the views along the way!). We encourage any carpooling or use of share ride apps. Please plan for alternative transportation if you plan on consuming alcohol. We do not support drinking and driving for the safety of our guests.
We are having a black tie wedding. We request that all guests wear black to our formal event. Black tie attire for women includes a black floor length dress. For men, please wear a black suit or tuxedo, white dress shirt and a black bow-tie or necktie.
While we adore children, we've opted for an adults-only formal event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening.
We will indicate any plus one accommodations on the save the date and formal invitations. If you would like to bring a plus one, please reach out to us and we can revise our guest list.
The cocktail hour will be held outdoors. We will then head indoors for the reception.
We will be having a plated dinner. You can choose an option when you RSVP. Any food and dietary restrictions will be requested in the invitation and accommodated by our venue.
Yes. Our cocktail hour will include beer and wine only, followed by our reception that will be open bar.
Formal invitations will follow the save-the-date with RSVP information.
We recommend flying into either The San Francisco or San Jose airports for out of state guests. The San Francisco International Airport is about 30-40 minutes from our venue in Half Moon Bay. The San Jose Mineta International Airport is about 60-70 minutes from our venue. Please keep in mind a REAL ID will be required to fly by the date of our wedding. A REAL ID is required starting May 7, 2025 for travelers to be compliant to board domestic flights. There are other acceptable identifications at TSA checkpoint, including a passport. We understand that many of our guests will be traveling from out of town to join us for our special day. We have a room block available at our reception venue, Oceano Hotel and Spa. To use the room block call the hotel (650-726-5400) and mention you are staying for the Quigg-Grato wedding. The room block for a standard room is $329 per night and is available up until 30 days before the wedding. Please request additional information and details on the room from the hotel. There are many alternative hotels nearby including: Harbor View Inn, Inn at Mavericks, Beach House Hotel, The Oceanfront Beach Villa, Cypress Inn, The Miramar Inn and Suites, Quality Inn Half Moon Bay/Miramar Beach.
