There have been 3 historic dates in the history of mankind: 1750, the start of the industrial revolution; July 20, 1969, when we landed on the moon; and February 14th, 2021 the day that Sarah and Jose matched on Tinder. While many historians will note that Sarah was the first to respond (She said "howdy"), several scholars and experts say that it was Jose's clever and well-thought-out pickup line involving Alex Trebek and X-Files that marked the beginning of the greatest relationship in human history. Not even the great distance of 103.7 miles between their respective doorsteps or Jose's profession of love 3 weeks into the relationship via text even though he hadn't actually met her in person yet could stop something so great and so inevitable as the coupling of Sarah and Jose. Nor could Jose's absolute botchery of basic romantic social cues on their first date (who swats away an attempt at hand-holding with someone as brilliant and gorgeous as Sarah??). And so, after many 2 hour drives screaming Taylor Swift for Sarah, and many 2-hour trains rides watching Animorphs conspiracy videos for Jose, these two love birds decided to share and occupy the same apartment in Savannah GA. And after such an incredible success in this venture, they decided that Savannah simply could not contain the incredible grandiosity of their love and they packed up and moved to Memphis TN. While it was a harrowing move that involved the complete breakdown of a car and two sanities, they made it and found their new home and a new chapter in life. But Jose knew that any good book involves several chapters and the ultimate completion of the protagonists' relationship, so he decided to propose to Sarah. After professing his love to her, she professed her desire to vomit. And then said, "of course". Also, he loves her more than there are stars in the universe and more than any heart can bare, so that factored into it too. So, now you, the reader, are all caught up. Can't wait to see you at the wedding! They also have a dog and cat who are not invited to the wedding. Please don't tell them.
