Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Welcome to Maine! In late May, the daytime weather may be 60s-70s, but will get chilly at night (40s-50s). The reception will be indoors and temperature-regulated but please bring some warm layers for the evening just in case!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see you in your best! Depending on what you are comfortable in, anything from midi to floor-length dresses/jumpsuits and suits with jackets are perfect. Here is a link to a Pinterest board with inspiration: https://pin.it/5BwW4LWJZ.

Question

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Answer

The ceremony area is outdoors in a wooded area with some grass and gravel. Depending on the weather before the wedding, it may be a bit slippery. Please wear whatever footwear will be comfortable for you!

Question

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

There will be a golf cart available to transport anyone who needs mobility assistance. The ceremony area is outdoors and has some rocky parts and a slight decline. The reception in the barn is wheelchair accessible.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception is steps away in a barn.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please check your invite for your +1!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to space, we will only be inviting kids from family and they will be included on the invitation. Please check your invite and reach out if you have questions!

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, as we will have a photographer taking care of that! After the ceremony, you are more than welcome to take your own pictures.

Question

How will food and drinks be served?

Answer

Light appetizers will be served during cocktail hour after the ceremony. Dinner will be catered and served plated. Please check back later for menu options. And of course, an open bar. Please drink responsibly!

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Please let us know on your RSVP and we will make sure things are safe for you to enjoy.

Question

Is there transportation being provided between reception and hotels?

Answer

We will be providing shuttles to and from the venue as cars are not allowed on the property. Shuttles will pick up guests from the Hampton Inn. More info to come.

Question

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a block of rooms reserved at the Hampton Inn, a town over from the venue. If you prefer, there are a lot of cute Airbnb's if you'd like to stay on the nearby lake!
