Why Italy?
Answer
The better question is, why not? But in reality, it's because we visited Italy for the first time in 2021 (shoutout to Kaity & Matt!), and had the trip of a lifetime....or so we thought. Coming out of this trip is when we both knew that not only did we find our life partner, we found the place to make it official. Our marriage in Italy will be a full-circle moment, and we look forward to another trip of a lifetime for ourselves and our guests.

Day of Cermony: What are our transportation options?

Final details will be posted on this site at a later date, however, a shuttle service will be provided. A central pickup point and time will be established in Montelpulciano and/or Monticchiello. In the evening we will have 1-2 shuttle vehicles available to take the guests back to the designated location(s) at their leisure. There is ample parking available at the venue should you choose to responsibly drive your own vehicle.

How do I get there?
Answer
In short, you will eventually need to rent a car. While most of Italy is accessible via train, you will need a vehicle to get to the countryside of Tuscany. Florence is the closest accessible city to Terre di Nano. Regardless of where you fly into Italy, we'd recommend taking a train into Florence and then renting a car from there. It is approximately a 90 minute drive. For those flying into Rome, the trip is a fairly manageable 2.5 hours by car. Or you can take a train from Rome to Florence and rent the car from there. Milan is approximately 3.5 hours away by car. We'd recommend taking the train into Florence. If you're unable to drive a manual stick-shift, be sure to make arrangements in advance as automatics are in limited supply!
