FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before May 3, 2025, exactly 5 weeks before our wedding day. You may RSVP right here on our wedding website. Simply click on the RSVP tab, enter your name, and indicate your attendance for each event (ceremony and reception).

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The Catholic Church is very punctual and the ceremony will start promptly at 2pm. You should aim to arrive at least 15-30 minutes before the ceremony is scheduled to begin

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be semi formal. Please ensure ahead of time that your attire will be appropriate. Bridesmaids will be wearing a dusty rose color. As is tradition, we ask that guests refrain from wearing white dresses.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet-style so we anticipate that there will be ample options available for all. However, if you have concerns involving your food allergies or restrictions, please reach out to Sarah and Jackie ahead of time.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

For the ceremony, the church will have ample parking. For the reception, there is parking available however in shorter supply. We highly encourage our guests to consider rideshare or carpooling options.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony at the church will be completely indoors. Our reception will take place at a venue with outdoor and indoor spaces. Dinner will be served outside.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby until the start of reception. We encourage our guests to take the opportunity to enjoy the lovely city of Claremont until cocktail hour begins at 5:00pm.

Question

Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?

Answer

Yes we do! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website where we’ve compiled all of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area, including coffee shops, bars and restaurants to visit before or after the wedding.

Question

Are guests expected to attend both the church ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Our church ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00pm at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Upland. Our reception will start with a cocktail hour at 5:00pm at Padua Hills Theatre in Claremont. Our guests are welcome and encouraged to join us for both events on our big day! However, while we would love for everyone to join us, we understand if you cannot. Please indicate in your RSVP which events you will and will not attend. There are two separate RSVPs -- one for the church ceremony and one for the reception. Please be sure to indicate your attendance accordingly.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items on Zola, Amazon, Crate and Barrel, and Bloomingdales. Please see the Registry tab on our website for more info.
