Joshua has been a best friend and older brother to Jackie since middle school. Jackie has often turned to Josh when he has needed a sympathetic ear, an objective perspective, or just a good laugh. Christina is one of Sarah’s earliest friends from St. Lucy’s. They met in their freshman year while taking the bus and soon bonded over their shared love of One Direction. Sarah was also one of Christina’s bridesmaids when she got married last year! They enjoy going to concerts and double dates to Vegas and Disneyland.

The friendship between Andrew and Jackie came as a surprise to them both but soon grew strong through their time in student government, and then as fraternity brothers, at the University of La Verne. Through the twists and turns of life, Andrew has been a steady source of frank advice and brotherly support. His grit, his passion, and his incisive analytical skills are inspirational, and Jackie is grateful to be able to share in them.

Lucia is Sarah’s Italian sister! Lucia is from Milan and first met Sarah through a church sponsored exchange program. Lucia stayed with Sarah’s family in the summer of 2013 and Lucia’s family hosted Sarah during her 2015 travels with Diana. In 2022 Sarah and Jackie went back to Italy and stayed with Lucia and her family again.

Hunter and Jackie quickly became friends after meeting as cohort mates at UC Irvine. Jackie looks up to Hunter, not only due to his physical height, but also for his brilliance, his charming humility, and his dedication to living an examined life. He negotiates life with a critical kindness and poetic flair that draws out deep meaning in even mundane things, and this gift animates their friendship.

Diana and Sarah became best friends during their time at St. Lucy’s and became roommates when Sarah first moved to her Claremont home. They love going to music festivals, art crafting, and watching Gilmore Girls together. They were also living together when Diana adopted Milo, the cutest dog ever!

Having first met in the 2nd grade, Pascal is Jackie’s oldest friend. Pascal’s artistic eye, his versatile skillset, and suspiciously impeccable timing tend to keep their adventures interesting. Pascal’s reflective nature and emotional intelligence manifest as acts of service for his friends and family, and these traits endear him quickly to all who meet him.

Rachael and Sarah met as roommates when they dormed together their freshman year at La Verne. They were also travel buddies when they went to the Galapagos Islands in 2016, and to Thailand in 2019! When Rachael is in town from her global travels, she and Sarah enjoy hikes and visiting famous cafes together.

Hagop and Jackie first met and became fast friends through Model United Nations at La Verne. Hagop was also Jackie’s first roommate, and together they weathered the pandemic, wildfires, and the threat of tow trucks. Hagop’s penchant for philosophy and art has been the spark for many memorable conversations over the years, and it remains a wellspring of insight.

Jessica and Sarah met Freshman year at St. Lucy’s in P.E. as badminton partners and quickly became friends. Their friendship grew further in college at La Verne together, where they studied, joined Greek life, and went to many parties together. One of Sarah’s favorite memories is their Spring Break trip to Cancun.

Ulises’s hard-working nature and his uncanny ability to find humor in all things instills a bright joy between them anytime they get together. Priscilla and Sarah met in High School at St. Lucy’s. They quickly became close through their many trips to Disneyland together. They also bonded in Track & Field together and more recently when they both became homeowners!

Jackie was recruited by Christian to join Model United Nations, and they soon bonded over their love of history and politics. Their friendship grew stronger over the years, as roommates, as cat co-owners, and as fellow enthusiasts of digital culture. Christian’s fidelity to his beliefs, his taste in music and film, and his remarkable resilience have stayed with Jackie throughout the years.

Jade is the older sister of Jackie. From being there to help Jackie propose in Joshua Tree, to travelling to Japan + China all together this past October, Jade has been a steady anchor of support and friendship. Sarah is so excited that she’ll soon have a sister too!

John has been Jackie’s younger brother since 2001. They share a love of music -- one which John has further developed through his multiple bands and other projects. Jackie appreciates John’s optimism and his adaptability, and how they serve him well in his artistic pursuits.
