FAQs

Question

Will the wedding be happening?

Answer

Yes! As we've learned this year, life is uncertain, so we don't want to wait another year to celebrate our love and we are committed to getting married at the West Shore Cafe on August 4th. We will be following local county laws regarding COVID restrictions. We will do whatever it takes to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests. In order to do so, we will require guests to be vaccinated. The ceremony and reception are both outdoors, with dancing inside a large room with open doors and windows. You are welcome to wear a mask and/or forgo the dancing portion of the night if that makes you more comfortable.

Question

What is the weather like in Tahoe in August?

Answer

Hot sunny days and cold nights - Bring layers! Once it gets dark it will most likely get cool, so be sure to pack a sweater, fleece or light jacket. It will be hot and sunny during the day so make sure to wear sunscreen and drink a lot of water (we will be at 6,224 feet of altitude)

Question

Can we bring children to the wedding?

Answer

We are not able to accommodate kids at the wedding. If you need to bring your child/children, please let us know and we can figure out organizing childcare.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Lake-Mountain Chic....but mostly whatever makes you happy!

For all the days along the way
