Sarah and Evan met in 2018 at Colorado State University thanks to their friends (shoutout to John and Karlee!). Sarah and Evan went on a double date, indulging in laughter and good food at Chili's, and an epic battle of Cards Against Humanity. One date led to another, and before they knew it, five amazing years had flown by.

Evan planned a weekend trip to Sarah's family condo in Grand Lake, Colorado. On Friday morning, they went to their favorite coffee and bagel shop in town. After they ate, Evan suggested they go into Rocky Mountain Park. Now very suspicious, Sarah noticed Evan pull into a trailhead that they and Sarah's family had been many times to listen to elk bugle, star gaze, and drink hot chocolate. They walked to end of the trail where Evan pulled Sarah aside, got on one knee, and asked Sarah to marry him. She said yes (before he even got the words out lol)! They took a bunch of engagement selfies and drove back to the condo where they cracked open a couple of beers. That night, they went to their favorite restaurant in town and Evan told Sarah about the plans for the rest of the weekend. On Saturday, they drove to Fort Collins where they went to dinner with both their families to celebrate.
