Maid of Honor
We met in the fall of 2009 during sorority recruitment at Pitt. Melanie was already a member of Delta Phi Epsilon. We clicked during recruitment over our love for books and musicals and have been best friends ever since! Our college years were filled with lots of inside jokes and random dance parties. Melanie has seen me through a lot of ups and downs while keeping our friendship strong. In the summer of 2019 we completed our college goal of traveling to Europe and gladly did not backpack as originally planned!

Where to start with Zach? Zach and I have been friends for the better part of a decade now, but our friendship has really taken shape over the last couple of years. I have seen Zach grow into an amazing father of three and a devoted husband. I have seen him battle through some extremely tough times and come out stronger because he refused to quit. Zach and I have been on some pretty equip trips over the years. I will let him keep those for his speech. Although he should have enough material to keep things pretty entertaining.

Jessa and I met during pharmacy school at Pitt, but our friendship did not blossom until after graduation. We were both completing pharmacy rotations in Australia when we found out that we matched at the same residency! So we gave our residency program director a heart attack by deciding to live (and work full time) with each other. Thankfully it turned out to be a great idea and we became very close. Jessa is always ready to get out and explore especially when rural festivals and county fairs are involved. I cannot imagine my time in Chillicothe without her! Since residency we have remained close despite being across the country from each other. I could not ask for a more supportive friend.
Best Man
Our friendship was one more of acquaintances at the beginning and it all changed one late night at a local bar that we visited far too often. Since that night I have gained not only a friend, but a brother in life. I have seen him grow into a husband and father. Life might get in the way of things more than they used to but I have always been able to count on Logan to be there.

I met Caroline after moving to Chattanooga in 2016. As a single woman moving to a city where you know no one, words cannot express how happy I was to meet Caroline! She is always guaranteed to make you laugh and be there for whatever you need. Not to mention her excellent baking skills and will always Venmo you even if it is for $1. Caroline was present for large chunk of my adult dating life and when she met Eric she immediately approved (which has not always been the case).

Well he is my little brother so I kinda had to have him in my party, but even if he wasn't my brother I would still want him up there with me during my big day. I have seen him battle through a bunch of different obstacles in life and I am super proud of what he has accomplished so far. I can't wait to see what he will tackle next.

I decided to move to Chattanooga knowing NO ONE (crazy right?). Thankfully Erin was to be my future co-worker and had only moved to Chattanooga about a year before me. She and her husband Landon had already done a lot of the awkward friend making and were kind enough to include me in their weekly trivia group. Without Erin I would not have met the people I am closest with in Chattanooga. Erin is also the first one who spotted my now handsome dog Ryder at the shelter. My time in Chattanooga would have looked a lot different (and a lot less fun) without Erin. Sadly she has left Chattanooga, but it makes a good excuse to get BBQ while visiting her in Memphis.

What to say about Gus. He is another family member of mine. Although he holds the title of cousin he is more like a little brother to me since I have seen him grow up into being the fine young man that he is today.

I met Laura and her husband Bryce during my first 6 months of living in Chattanooga through intramural kickball. Our team wasn't very good but the best thing to come out of it was our friendship! Laura is always ready for an adventure (and a drink)! Laura knew what Eric's first Christmas gift to me was going to be and couldn't help but brag to my mother one night about him. Sadly Laura has also left Chattanooga to move back to Seattle, but that means a Seattle trip will be happening soon! ...these are really just friend recruitments for people to move to Chattanooga.

I have know Nathan AKA "Cooper" for the better part of 14 years now. We met in the Army and went on 2 deployments together during our time in the military. We have seen and done a lot of things together. Some of it worth it, other things we have regretted trying, but wouldn't change the memories we share together. This last bit is for any single ladies out there. He is still on the market and is a pretty good guy.
