The Braves' season does not start until the week after our wedding, but we still recommend checking out the village around the ballpark for good food options and a fun hangout atmosphere!
Ponce City Market
Our second date and second year anniversary location! This market has plenty of great food and fun activities or you can start from here and take a nice walk around Atlanta's Beltline.
Piedmont Park
Another favorite date spot! Get outside for a nice walk or throw a frisbee in this green space in downtown Atlanta.
Georgia Aquarium
The largest aquarium in the U.S. with whale sharks. Sarah loves the penguins and recommends checking out the dolphin show.
Georgia Institute of Technology
The place that started it all. We've spent more than our fair share of time here, but if you haven't and have an interest in college campuses, it's worth a visit.

Kennesaw Mountain
A nice hike and historic national battlefield right in Connor's neighborhood growing up!
Stone Mountain
A longer hike than Kennesaw - both to get to and longer way up - but this giant exposed rock face is worth it if you have the time to explore!
Downtown Woodstock
A fun historic downtown area not too far from the venue, great place to spend the afternoon on your way up to the wedding! Lots of shops and yummy places to eat.
Dominic's Wood Fired Ball Ground
Fig Pig pizza. 'Nuff said. Being near the wedding venue, you can expect to find the groom's party here for a wedding day lunch, and we'd recommend it to anyone else looking for a bite in Ball Ground.
