When Does The Wedding Start?

Answer

We do have to prepare in the morning, so the wedding event itself will take place on 2PM. Right after, there will be a reception taking place in the barn at the venue!

Alcohol - What's The Verdict?

To help us create a safe and enjoyable celebration for everyone, our wedding will be alcohol-free. We kindly ask that no alcohol be brought to or consumed during the event. Thank you so much for understanding and celebrating with us!

What Will The Weather Be Like This Time Of Year?

Answer

The weather will generally be warm in late August, with temperatures typically ranging from 75–85°F. Please dress accordingly and plan for comfortable, warm-weather attire.

Where Is The Wedding and Reception Taking Place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue. The ceremony will be held outdoors on the lawn, followed by the reception inside the barn.

How Do I Get To The Venue?

Answer

The venue is located at 1713 165th Street, Manchester, Iowa 52057, just about 3 miles north of Manchester off Highway 13. Various GPS apps like Google Maps and Apple Maps will get you there.

What Time Should I Arrive?

Please plan to arrive about 15–20 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and seating.

Is Parking Free? Where Do I Park?

Answer

Parking is on-site in a field/lot at the venue and it’s free for all guests. Just follow the signs or attendants when you arrive to find a spot.

Are Kids/Animals Welcome?

Yes, kids and animals are welcome. Please just keep pets supervised and on a leash when appropriate. This is a family friendly event.

When Is The RSVP Deadline? How Do I Send It?

Please RSVP by August 1st so we can plan accordingly. You may respond by messaging one of us directly via text or Messenger, or by using our wedding website.

What Food Is Being Served?

We will be serving pizza, pulled pork, charcuterie, and a variety of desserts. If you have any food allergies, please include them with your RSVP so we can inform the caterers.

Gifts are absolutely not required, but are warmly appreciated. If you wish to contribute, we are kindly asking for help with our honeymoon, and a link to our fund can be found on our website.

What Happens After The Ceremony?

After the ceremony, guests are welcome to head to the reception barn or to partake in lawn games and charcuterie for social hour!
