Our wedding is held at Windmill Hill Barn, at Manchester, Iowa, on August 23rd, 2026. The wedding will be held from 2:00 PM - 2:30 PM, and the reception will take place immediately after held at the same venue, until 10:00 PM! The wedding attire is Formal-Casual attire, we're not too picky!! We will have pizza, and specialized drinks and other refreshments. This will be an alcohol free wedding :) We are so excited to have everyone come and watch us truly connect our lives together. Planning the wedding has been extraordinarily fun, and we CANNOT wait for the great time we'll have !

Homeowning in itself is scary. It's a lot less scary when you have your forever person. We were able to secure a home purchase back in October of 2025, and we have been renovating it since! The house came packed with colors that we liked... but we are currently painting in colors that we LOVE. Our white bedroom will turn into a luxurious dark red. Our yellow kitchen has turned into a lush green. Our blue sunroom has turned into a peach colored complement. And so much more. This house is our future, and we are so blessed with the support system that we have. Plus, it's the perfect size for our seven animals!

When Cody saved a photo of "Willem Dafoe smoking a cigarette while holding two oranges, one of them moldy" in Sarah's Snapchat chat, they started talking. Daily. And into nights. A first date was set up, and then another one. We went to a concert that featured one of our childhood bands right before we started dating; Cake. We're going the distance! Because right after that concert, we got news that the northern lights were coming to Iowa. The aurora borealis was right above us, and we took an hour drive to view it. Literally with the stars aligning, we knew we were meant to be. And it just went from there! We have always wanted this type of love, and it's one we cherish from the bottom of our hearts
