We plan for our ceremony to be outdoors and reception to be indoors. Cocktail hour will take place primarily outdoors, with the option to utilize indoor spaces as desired. In the event of rain or extreme heat, the ceremony and/or cocktail hour may be moved indoors.
We are hoping to have as close to a pre-covid wedding as possible and to minimize the risk of serious illness, therefore we are requiring our guests to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or to provide proof of a negative COVID test taken within 24 hours before the event. We are using the CDC’s current definition of fully vaccinated, which means at least two weeks since a second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or two weeks since a single dose of Johnson & Johnson. We strongly encourage our guests to get booster shots if it’s been more than six months since your second dose to counteract waning immunity from initial doses and to mitigate the risk posed by new variants. If there is a significant level of COVID spread in our wedding area in June, we may request that guests take additional precautions prior to or at our wedding, such as providing rapid tests for all of our guests to take. We will keep you updated on any further protocols via email.
We want all of our guests to be present for our big moment, so we ask that you leave the picture-taking to our photographer during the ceremony. You're welcome to take all the photos your heart desires during the reception!
