We met the first practice of 7th grade volleyball and have been friends/sisters ever since. We have traveled the world together and there is no better travel companion. She has lived in Poland the past few years and I am so excited that she is moving back to California this summer to teach in Palo Alto. Pretty much one of the funniest people I know...if you don't agree I don't know what to say. She is also known as "shmoops".

Nick and I have know each other for 25 years; as one of my oldest friends he's literally been there every step of the way. I simply couldn't imagine this day without him.

My brother. One of the most important people in my life. I am so lucky to have a brother I am so close with. I wanted him to be part of my bridal party since he is such a big support in my life. He is also responsible for my sense of humor (good or bad :)) My brother lives in Bend, Oregon and is married to Laura. They have two girls, Ada and Cate who will be at the wedding.

Dan has been a mentor, a sponsor but most importantly a friend over the past 10 years. While our relationship started out professionally our similar personalities and interests turned us into fast friends. I wouldn't be where I am today without Dan and couldn't imagine starting this next chapter of my life with Sarah without him there.

Nicole and I have known each other since 7th grade but really became close friends our Senior year of high school. Although she lives in California we have built a great friendship over trips between Washington and California and lots of facetiming. She is one of my closest friends and is helping to organize the bachelorette party in Palm Springs. Can't wait! Her husband Ryan is like a brother and I consider the two of them to be like family at this point.

Drew and I met in graduate school and our bromance was strong - even though his wife and I were friends first (love ya Liz!) my friendship with Drew is one I will always cherish. He has always encouraged me unconditionally.

Niki and I met in our FIG (Freshmen Interest Group) at UW. We instantly hit it off and were inseparable most of our four years at UW. There is no one else I would have rather experienced my college years with and we have plenty of great stories to share over a drink. Niki now lives in Bellingham, Washington (1 hour 20 min north of Seattle) with her husband JR and two children Ari and Olivia.

While Ryan and I have known each other since high school, we've been close friends since college. I've had some of the greatest weekends of my life with Ryan and have always appreciated his sense of humor and the energy he brings to our friendship.

Sharon and I were introduced to each other Junior year of college at UW and have been friends ever since. Over the years I have treasured our friendship and I know that Sharon is always there to listen and provide advice if needed. She is also a ton of fun and some of my most fun nights in Seattle have been with her!

Luke and I have been friends since grade school, I've always loved his no bullshit personality and unflappable nature. While we've lived across the country for years, we've always picked up right where we leave off.

I think Lauren and I have the most interesting story of how we met...she and her husband were sitting next to my mom and I at a Canlis event. We hit it off and on her way out she gave me her business card to give her a call to hang out (she was new to town and still trying to build her friend network). We met for a drink at Cactus in Madison Park in what felt like a "first date" to test the friendship waters and thankfully we made it to "date" number two. Fast forward five years, girls trips, wine tasting, dinner club and boat outings and she is one of my closest friends.

Joel and I have been great friends since our days living in San Diego, while we've both moved on from SoCal, the memories never will - he's truly a one of a kind friend that is the life of the party!

I met Kristin through mutual friends and I am so glad I did! She and I have known each other about five years and in that time have built such a great friendship. I can always count on Kristin whether that be to have a fun time, help celebrate life events, to provide support and advice and she is one of the top five funniest people I know. I'm so glad she will be there to help me celebrate our wedding.

Brett and I have been friends from high school then college roommates with Joe and even closer friends since. As we've matured so has our friendship; Brett has always provided incredible perspective as we've navigated life. We've enjoyed many highs and a few lows but always make it to the next adventure.

My running buddy and friend Leslie! We met at Starbucks and discovered our mutual love for running. She and I did the Berlin Marathon last September and completed our training together. That meant hours and miles of running, listening to all of our stories and creating a special friendship. I value her kindness and thoughtfulness so much and am so glad she is party of my bridal party.

Kushal and I have been close friends since our high school days of Model UN (nerdy but true.) We've had a lot of great times in the years since but no experience replaces pretending to be a UN delegate.
Bridesmaid
Cynthia and I met years ago through Niki and in the past few years have become closer friends. We traveled to Sicily last year with a couple other friends and had the time of our life. Her love of life and enjoying all thing things - food, drink, experiences is so contagious and makes her so much fun to be around. She is the mother hen of the group and I know will be making sure we are all set on the day of the wedding.

Joe and I have been close friends since high school, college roommates at Illinois and great friends as we've grown older. I've always relied on Joe's pragmatic approach to life and willingness to be a sounding board. Joe is an overall great guy who genuinely cares.
