The closest major airports to Sonoma are San Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK). Both are about a 1.5 hour drive to Sonoma.
Below are our recommendations for those of you needing a place to stay. As it turns out, we're not the only couple who think Sonoma is a beautiful place to get married in September. It's high season for weddings and wineries, so it's important to book early!

We've blocked the entire Sonoma Hotel for our guests (16 rooms total). It's right off the main Sonoma Square with a variety of rooms to choose from. Please mention you're with the Powers / Greggor wedding when you call to make a reservation. Make sure to book by the end of June in order to obtain our group rate!

We have a room block at this hotel under Powers / Greggor. It is a 5-minute walk to the Sonoma Square and has a nice salt water pool for swimming and lounging. Make sure to call when making the reservation to get the group rate!
