We're Getting Married!

In Spring time of 2014, Austen & Sarah both happened to join a Bocce Ball league in the Marina of San Francisco. The format was casual, with games played at Fort Mason followed by team drinks at Blue Light bar every Thursday night. Given their competitive nature and love of a good time, they found themselves side-by-side on the flip cup table one fateful night. After the game Austen broke out his best pick up lines, and a fun small world situation led Sarah to give him her phone number. After many texts, a few more Bocce Ball nights, and finally a first date, it was obvious there was something special between the two of them.

Sarah thought the day was going to be an extra fun date in celebration of the Warriors Championship (a couple months late), but had no idea of what Austen really had planned.... They boarded a 4-seater plane in Oakland and flew above the clouds to Napa Airport. Once in Napa they went to Artesa Winery for a wine tasting and food pairing. After enjoying their time with the view and quite a few glasses of wine it was time to head back to the airport, or so Sarah thought. While "waiting for an uber" Austen led Sarah down to a beautiful fountain where he turned to her and got down on one knee. After many happy tears and a toast of champagne the celebration continued with a surprise of friends and family at Della Santina in the Sonoma Square for lunch.
