Our Story

Our story began as neighbors when our families moved to McKinney, TX in 2012. We first met at a neighborhood block party, where Arturo swears it was love at first sight—even if it took Sarah a few more years to catch up! Our friendship grew throughout high school, and in the summer of 2016, Arturo nervously asked Sarah to be his girlfriend over brunch at Black Walnut Café. Caught off guard but thrilled, Sarah responded in classic teenage fashion, flashing a peace sign and saying, “Let’s do it!” Fast forward to May 20, 2023, in beautiful San Miguel de Allende, Arturo proposed! This time Sarah said “yes” with no peace sign in sight! From cheering each other on at football games and dance competitions to navigating college and moving to Los Angeles, we’ve been side by side through every chapter. Now, we’re counting down to May 23, 2025, when we’ll embark on our greatest adventure yet, surrounded by loved ones. Until then, enjoy a few snapshots of our journey together!
