This is a very popular local favorite. Fill up on pies and cider and enjoy the gorgeous Northern California autumn scenery. One hour drive from Woodland.

Apple Hill

A fun spot we have always wanted to check out. One hour and 40 minute drive.

Winchester Mystery House

We visited this place when we first moved out here and it is like walking through magic. 90 minute drive from Woodland.

Muir Woods National Monument

Two hour drive from Woodland. If you can stay a couple days before or after the wedding, Tahoe is worth it. Great for a couples getaway.

Lake Tahoe

Woodland is a two-hour drive or less from one of the most cosmopolitan and tour-able cities in the world: Fisherman's wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown, Alcatraz, and so much more.
