Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We have 2 hotel blocks for our guests (see "Travel" tab of this website) and a shuttle will transport guests from both hotels to and from the venue.

What is the venue?

Answer

We will be getting married at Happy Days Lodge, a historic building in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Both the ceremony and reception will take place inside the lodge.

Is there parking?

Answer

The venue has a large parking lot across the street, accessible by a tunnel, as well as a small parking lot for any guests with accessibility needs. We have a shuttle service from both of our blocked hotels and encourage guests to take advantage of this option.

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail/semi-formal dress is encouraged. Our venue is heated throughout, so you shouldn't need to dress for the cold aside from a short walk from the parking lot.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Yes! Children are included in their parents' invitations; we leave the choice of whether to bring them up to each family. Please keep in mind that there will be alcohol and dancing at the reception. The ceremony room will be available during the reception if any parents would like a space for their kiddos to run around or play.
