Here are some of our favorite spots to eat and explore in the area. Keep in mind added drive times and traffic with summer weekend travel.

This is a great beach that's about a 20 minute drive from the hotel. You can buy a day pass at the beach. The Back Eddy is a nearby lunch spot and Westport Sea Farms has great chowda and lobsta rolls.

Horseneck Beach

This is a great place to go for a walk on the beach or around adjacent Allen pond. Then you can get lunch at Bayside Restaurant, great little seafood joint with local pies. (~20 min from hotels)

Mass Audubon's Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary

Rent a kayak for a couples hours on this beautiful river that leads to a bay. (10 min from hotels)

Kayak Rentals - Osprey Sea and Surf Adventures

Cute little café with lunch and breakfast with great shops to check out right next door. (~20 min from hotels)

Groundswell Café + Bakery (Breakfast/Lunch)

Nice little café for breakfast. Nearby to Grinnell's beach where you can sit and enjoy the bay. (~15 min from hotels)

Black Goose Café (Breakfast/Lunch)

Fun local breakfast or lunch spot right in downtown Bristol. Colt State park is a minute drive from here and has beautiful walking paths around a marsh and on the beach. (~20 min drive from hotels)

The Beehive Café (Breakfast/Lunch)

This is a great gluten free bakery that also offers vegan options. (~20 min from hotels)
