Mikah Klingensmith
Matron of Honor
Sarah's half sister, who she has always looked up to as a big sister. Mikah has been a significant role model to Sarah throughout every stage of her life. Mikah lives in Bloomfield Hills, and is married to Jason. They have three beautiful children, Jacob (19), Ella (16) and Lily (9). When Sarah moved to metro Detroit after college, she became closer than ever with Mikah and loved watching her kids grow while being a part of their lives. Sarah and Mikah would frequently catch up, whether it be over Friday afternoon happy hours, lunches at Golden Basket, or Saturdays at Somerset Mall for shopping. Although the two of them are at different stages of life, they never run out of things to talk about and will forever be close!
Emily Syrowik
Matron of Honor
Sarah's best friend. Sarah and Emily met post-college working at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. They became instant friends when the two of them were sent together to MSU to support a college recruiting day in a lime green Jeep Wrangler. The two immediately clicked and have been inseparable since! Sarah and Emily have stuck together through job changes, home purchases, and both were influential throughout the process of meeting their (in Sarah's case, soon-to-be) husbands. Emily recently moved across the country to San Francisco for a job working at Apple, but that does not keep the two of them apart!
Leslie Rajewski

Sarah's sister-in-law, married to her half brother, Josh. Leslie has been in Sarah's life now for almost 20 years, and Sarah has always looked up to her as a big sister. Some of the best memories together are the times spent up north together as a big family. Leslie and Josh have raised two young men, Spencer (17) and Alex (14). Sarah has loved being a part of their lives growing up. Leslie and her family currently live in Grosse Pointe Farms. Sarah & Brad love spending time with the family out on Lake St. Clair on Josh & Leslie's boat, "Happy Ours," and look forward to making many more memories in the future!
Katie Barkel

Sarah's sister-in-law, married to her brother, Jonathan. Katie officially joined the family in August 2018, but the two have been close well before that. Katie is an incredible cook, and one thing Sarah and Katie share is a love for food! Katie, Jonathan and Brad will frequently get dinner at various new restaurants that pop up around Detroit, (Selden Standard, Apparatus Room, Craft Work, just to name a few favorites). But our favorite meals are always the ones Katie prepares, as she is an incredible cook! Katie and Jonathan have recently welcomed a new baby to the world, River. He is such a sweetheart! If you get the chance to meet Katie, get ready....she gives the best hugs!
Shannon Lawrason

Brad's sister, Shannon. Sarah first met Shannon and her husband Dave at one of Brad's infamous house parties at their home in Royal Oak. Sarah remembers thinking Shannon was SO cool after she and Brad took part in a memorable Tom Petty, "American Girl," dance party. After that, Sarah knew this was a girl she could get along with! From then on, the two have shared many memories at Meadowbrook Country Club, swimming with the kids, or just staying in having pizza on a Friday night. Shannon and Dave live in Royal Oak, just a few blocks away in a beautiful home with their three boys, David (6), James (3) & Luke (2). Sarah loves spending time with the family and continuing to watch the boys grow!
Lauren Sieckman

Brad's oldest sister. Lauren currently lives in Chicago with her husband Mark, adorable son Mason (3), and sweet golden lab Frankie (21 in doggie years). Sarah first met Lauren at Easter brunch at Meadowbrook Country Club a few years ago. She instantly knew Lauren was a girl she would love to have as a sister someday. Although Lauren lives a few hours away in the windy city, that does not keep her from staying in touch. Lauren's family makes frequent trips back to the mitten for almost every major holiday. Sarah and Lauren have so many memories together at Meadowbrook, GPYC, and down in Destin, FL on the beach. Between all the fun, the two stay in touch via Facetime, and they don't miss a beat.
Anissa Mahrougui

Sarah met Anissa in the Alpha Phi house of Michigan State University. Sarah grew very close with Anissa during their Junior year of college when both girls lived in the sorority house together. Nothing could come between the two....Sarah would travel to Anissa's hometown (Ann Arbor, MI) in the summers to hang out with Anissa, and Anissa made several trips up north to Boyne Mountain where so many fun memories were made boating, teaching Anissa how to ski, and just hanging out. Anissa moved to Clewiston, FL after college and spent a few years teaching. Sarah even made a few trips down to Florida and joined Anissa in her classroom! Now Anissa lives in Tampa with her fiance Pierce, whom Sarah has also enjoyed getting to know better over the years.
Kara Desmond

Kara is one of Sarah's best friends, and also an Alpha Phi sorority sister from Michigan State University. Kara and Sarah lived together senior year, and have made tons of memories together. Some of the best ones include their shared (Halloween costume) birthday parties at one of their favorite restaurants, Kyoto in Royal Oak, ski weekends up at Boyne Mt., and bar hopping around Royal Oak during our single years. Even with the busiest of schedules, Kara always finds the time for long phone calls to talk about nothing, weeknight dinner dates, and wine nights. Kara now lives in Berkley, MI with her husband Pat, the man that Kara met when the two girls were out together in Royal Oak. Sarah & Brad look forward to more great times with the couple in the years to come!
David Lawrason
Best Man
Brad's first "brother". Dave joined the family when he married Brad's sister, Shannon, in September of 2013. Brad would visit Shannon and Dave often at their house in Royal Oak, which usually ended with a trip to Little Bros. for a sack of sliders and fried ravioli. Brad bought his own house in Royal Oak just a few blocks away to stay close and watch Shannon and Dave's family grow (3 boys...and counting?).
Mark Sieckman

Brad's second "brother". Mark joined the family when he married Brad's oldest sister, Lauren, in October of 2016. Mark and Lauren reside in Chicago, the city where they met, with their boy Mason and sidekick Frankie. Mark originally hails from Green Bay, Wisconsin. Brad often stirs the pot, but has little foundation to stand on when it comes to the historic Packers-Lions rivalry. Perhaps one day the boys in Honolulu Blue will stumble into an NFC North championship.
Jonathan Rajewski

Sarah's brother and partner in crime. Brad first met Jonathan (and his wife Katie) before a Red Wings game at Sweetwater Tavern, where they indulged in their love for cold beer and wings...with a full rack of ribs on the side for Jonathan. It's a wonder how he keeps his figure! Despite their full tummies, the night was adventurous and loads of fun. The fun has never stopped, as Brad, Sarah, Jonathan, and Katie enjoy trying new restaurants together, spending time Up North, and exploring new places on family vacations.
Michael Hagan

Michael and Brad's friendship goes way back, to when they grew up at Meadowbrook Country Club. Endless summer days at the club, visits to MSU, and Turkey Bowl glory are just a few of the memories that span throughout the years. It's only fitting that Michael was the initiator of events that eventually led to his meeting of Sarah years later. Michael was the one who urged Brad to purchase his house in Royal Oak and invite two MSU graduates to move in. Despite the name on the title, "Kinzer's house" was the place to be most weekends. Eventually this network of Spartys yielded a meeting between Sarah and Brad that flourished into love.
Will Blickle

Brad met Will in his high school computer programming class, and later that fall was surprised to see him on the NHS pool deck for the first day of swim practice. Turns out Will had more to bring to the table than Visual Basic skills, as the two of them shared in much success (and mischief) with the Mustangs and Farmington YMCA Stingrays. Both Will and Brad went East for college to continue their swimming careers, with Will at West Point and Brad at Penn. They would make certain to visit each other when possible, and continue their shenanigans. Will resides in Annapolis, MD, with his wife Gretchen.
Chris Buck

Brad's first friend at Penn when he arrived on campus. Brad and Chris shared the Michigan connection, as Chris grew up in Ann Arbor. Brad and Chris enjoyed four extremely fun years with the Penn swim team and Penn '10 class, including bus rides to away meets, long nights at Blarney's, and Spring Fling mischief. No matter where Chris is: Ann Arbor, Chicago, or now New York City, these two always make arrangements to get together and share old memories while creating new ones.
John Bonhard

One of the original two roommates. John and Brad both jumped in headfirst in their tenant/landlord relationship, having never met one another when John showed up at the front door with a soaking wet mattress (tarps are always a good idea when moving in the rain). Nevertheless, things could not have worked out better and friendship blossomed. Though he eventually moved on to get hitched to his wife Janine, there will always be a spot at 1110 Wyandotte Ave for good 'ole Johnny.
Michael Conti

The replacement roommate. Michael and Brad both grew up in Northville, but their friendship took off after both graduated college. These two stirred up quite a bit of trouble at Bricks and The Wagon Wheel, before the venue shifted to Royal Oak. Also a big proponent of Little Bros., Conti was all aboard to move in once a vacancy opened up at 1110 Wyandotte Ave. The dependable Sunday scene was Lions, couch, a spread of pizza (from perhaps multiple locations), and an argument surrounding the latest in tech.
Ella Klingensmith
Jr. Bridesmaid
Ella is Sarah's oldest niece, and Mikah & Jason's daughter. Sarah has loved watching Ella grow to be the beautiful young lady that she is today. Ella is a senior at Seaholm High School in Birmingham, MI.
Lily Klingensmith
Jr. Bridesmaid
Lily is Sarah's niece, and Mikah and Jason's youngest daughter. Lily is 10 years old and she attends St. Regis Catholic School. Lily is very active in theater and sports, and Sarah enjoys cheering her on with whatever activity she is doing.
Josh Rajewski

Josh is Sarah's half brother. Josh lives in Grosse Pointe with his wife, Leslie, and two boys, Spencer and Alex. Sarah has always looked up to Josh as a big brother and considered him to be an important role model over the years. Brad became especially fond of Josh after finding out he was a boater and a Sparty.
Jason Klingensmith

Jason is Sarah's brother-in-law. Jason lives in Bloomfield Hills with his wife, Mikah, and three children. Despite being a lawyer, Jason is usually the life of the party and has a great sense of humor. Though a Michigan grad, Brad and Sarah still love him.
Jacob Klingensmith

Jacob is Sarah's oldest nephew, and son of Mikah and Jason. Jacob will be finishing his sophomore year at University of Indiana. Jacob grew up playing baseball and Sarah always loved watching Jakey from the sidelines and cheering him on.
Spencer Rajewski
Usher
Spencer is Sarah's nephew, and oldest son of Leslie and Josh. Spencer loves boating, and spends his summers working the docks at Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. Spencer is a senior at Grosse Pointe South and will be heading off to MSU this fall. Go Green!!
Alex Rajewski

Alex is Sarah's nephew, and youngest son of Leslie and Josh. Alex has a charming smile, and a loving personality. Alex is a Sophomore and Grosse Pointe South.
Mason Sieckman

Mason is Brad's nephew, and son of Mark and Lauren. Mason lives in Chicago with his doggie brother, Frankie. Mason can be shy at first, but once he warms up he can be full of energy. When visiting, he loves to run around and play with his cousins.
David Lawrason

David is Brad's nephew, and the oldest of Shannon and Dave's boys. He has a wonderful personality, and is sometimes too smart for his own good. He is caring big brother for his younger siblings.
James Lawrason

James is Brad's nephew, and the middle son of Shannon and Dave. He is quite the talkative young man, and loves to dance. He's very polite, and always willing to share.
Luke Lawrason

Luke is Brad's nephew, and the youngest of Shannon and Dave's boys. He is a very easy going baby, always smiling and happy. He loves his big brothers very much.
