Chris and Ryan share a special bond to say the least. They met in high school as freshmen and their friendship has withstood many years and many miles. They have been there for each other through break ups, moves, road trips, drunken nights that ended in bloodshed and hangovers. Comic-con outings, Renaissance fairs, hiking a fourteen-er together(even though they didn't make as far as Alex), they have had one Bachelor party together and soon to have the other. Often introduced as brothers, there are only a couple of people that can claim to love Chris as much as Ryan.
Drew Billstein
Groomsman
When Ryan went to college in Durango, CO he met a lot of very special people that are very close to Chris as well. Drew Billstein is one of them and although he now resides in Florida he is still a close friend. From fishing trips, nights out at parties, axe throwing, hammerschlagen in backyards and bachelor parties, and of course the Merry Thanks Xmas parties hosted often at Drew and Emily's Thunder Paw Ranch. We are very excited to have Drew, his wife Emily and their beautiful daughter Georgia with us for this event.
Dan Katz
Groomsman
Dan and Chris grew up just down the street from each other. From playing ice hockey and lacrosse together, Paint balling and being part of many guilds online in World of Warcraft together, pulling axle's out of evo's while putting a hole in the garage wall with a jerry-rigged slide hammer made from a turbo housing, crushing hands while re-installing engines, leaving fuel connectors loose causing Dan to break down on a bridge mid traveling, they have been through many ups and downs over the almost 25 years of amazing friendship.
Travis Perry
Groomsman
Chris and Travis met freshmen year of high school as well, doing all sorts of stupid shit over the years and harassing others during lunch at school. We have had many not so sober nights, car events, beach trips, phone calls and Memes shared.
Mike Gruener
Groomsman
Chris's car wingman, from getting to taco bell faster in high school to beating their record to the mall 45 minutes away(we won't talk about our record here....), putting cars sideways any opportunity possible, breaking driveshafts and engines, forgetting drivers license's in upstate New York, anything involving cars often times had Mike involved in Chris's life. Even though they live a large distance apart, and Gruener didn't tell Chris he was getting married, they have remained great friends over the years.
Kayla Silva
Matron of Honor
Meeting Kayla while working at the Omni Hotel was the golden lining from that employment and their awkward work friendship grew into a loud, obnoxious, talk for hours on end awkward adult friendship. Kayla is Sarah's fourth sister, her "I Love You Man" and one of the best roommate's she's had. Distance cannot keep them apart and they have stayed close despite Kayla's recent move to Idaho (you da hoe) even if they go long periods without talking other than quick texts saying they they love each other and they hope they are well.
Katherine Strasser

Katherine has been there since the beginning since she is about eighteen months older than Sarah. They have come a long way since Katherine was throwing blocks at Sarah's head and they managed to not kill each other while sharing a room growing up. It wasn't until about high school that they stopped fighting long enough to decide they actually liked each other and they have stayed close since.
Alex Baker

There were of course many good things that came out of finding Chris for Sarah but the most unexpected good thing was Ryan and Alex's friendship. They were the treat in the cereal box if you will. Ryan and Alex have been together for almost 8 years so with Chris they were like the three musketeers but they have welcomed Sarah in seamlessly. Alex is the strong independent woman that Sarah needed in her life and from talking about the gym, plants, cooking, food, dogs, relationships and more it wouldn't be the same without Alex's sass and caring nature. Now Sarah even has someone to dress her up for Renaissance Fair!
James Borders
Bridesman
James and Sarah met through work and bonded while talking about strange Italian liqueur and later about their crummy relationships. James was there when Sarah needed someone the most and after crashing at Kayla's apartment for a bit over a month Sarah moved in with James. They tried terrible canned wines, joked about horribly written tasting notes, watched Beauty and the Beast while enjoying world class Riesling and hosted impromptu Champagne and therapy sessions deemed Copinet and Feelings. They picked each other up when it was needed and made it so neither had to come home to an empty apartment. It was very fitting that when Sarah moved out it was to move in with Chris while James' now wife Brittany moved in.
Chris Pierce (Chrispy)

Chris and Chrispy had first met while Ryan and Chrispy were roommates in Durango for college. Lots of great relationships have developed over time with the many people that have come into Chris's life because of Ryan, but Chrispy stands out as one that never changes no matter how long it's been they see each other. It's always shenanigans, outdoors things, motor talk these days with Chrispy's motorcycle rebuild channel on youtube, board games, whiskey and cigars, and lots of time guns and bows are involved too. Merry Thanks Xmas has been a tradition every year and this year was not the same without him. We are very excited to have him as our officiant! Move up here already Chris and Hannah!!
