We sure did! Believe it or not, we get this question pretty often. People can't believe that in a time of quarantine, two people could find each other. Well, thanks to a dating app (and a little divine intervention), we've made it this far, and we couldn't be more grateful for all the love and support we've gotten along the way. You may have heard us say it before: Dating in a pandemic is like accelerated dating. Because you can't easily go on more traditional dates, you have to get creative. For us, that meant Zoom dates in the early weeks, followed by hours by the pool, working from home together, and road trips to beautiful parks and darling little towns. We traded movie theaters for Harry Potter and Star Wars marathons and cooked dozens of meals together. Paul even showed off his Cajun-cooking chops by making jambalaya one night! Through all of that, we talked -- ABOUT EVERYTHING. The families that raised us, the families we dreamed of having, our mutual faith as Catholics, our education, what we enjoy learning about, our morals and values, painful parts of our lives, the people who shaped us, our failures and weaknesses, finances, politics and more. It didn't take long for us to realize we had found something special in each other. Especially exciting was seeing how much our familes and friends loved what they saw in us. In fact, they probably knew this was IT before we did. Now we're so excited to be preparing to spend the rest of our lives together. We know we have so much more to learn and that this journey will have ups and downs, but with all of you cheering us on, we have all the love and support we could ever need. Thank you for celebrating us and for being the most amazing family and friends this couple could ask for!
