Robert and Sara first met at a local bar called Blind Goat in Tampa, Florida. Meaghan, one of Sara's Maids of Honor, invited Sara out for a couple of drinks with a group of friends. Little did Sara and Robert know that would be the night they met the person they would spend their lives with. On June 6, 2020, Robert asked Sara out on their first date and as the saying goes - the rest was history.

Sara’s dad turned 60 on May 6, 2022, and the family was throwing him a huge birthday bash! Sara’s Mom told her to get to the house before the party so everyone could give a toast to the birthday boy before the craziness began. Sara loved that idea. Little did she know that the reason they needed to get there early was so Robert could ask her the question she had been dying to hear! When they arrived at the house and walked down by the river Robert got down on one knee in front of their friends and family. It was a magical moment that became even more special when some of Robert and Sara’s friends were there to celebrate the moment with them. They drank, ate, danced, and sang karaoke all night long. It is a night they will never forget!
