The wedding will be taking place at Agua Salada in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Wedding activities will take place all weekend from 7/9/2026 to 7/12/2026. Please remember that a valid passport is required to travel to Costa Rica.
Flight
Flight Suggestions
We strongly recommend flying into the international airport in Liberia, Costa Rica. The airport is named Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) . It is an approximately 1.5 hour drive to Tamarindo from Liberia compared to the other major airport in San José, which is a 4-5 hour drive. The bride and groom will be flying out of LAX on Wednesday July 8th on Alaska Airlines flight departing at approximately 10am. If you would like to join us on our flight, please reach out to us directly for more details. As the day gets closer, we will update a link to a spreadsheet for our guests to have the option to get a shared shuttle from the LIB airport into Tamarindo. Shuttle options will be posted here- or guests can find their own private driver or rent a car from the airport. I suggest using the shuttle service over any ride share app in Costa Rica, as prices are comparable.

Another hotel recommended by our wedding planner is the Wyndham Hotel located in Tamarindo. This hotel is about a 7 minute drive to the wedding venue and is slightly farther away from the bustle of the town.

Shuttle from Airport to Tamarindo
If you are not renting a car in Costa Rica, scheduling and book transportation is extremely easy! While Uber/Lyft is not widely used, booking with companies through their Whatsapp or Website is the best option. We will be using EcoTrans Costa Rica, their website is linked below. You can also text them on WhatsApp @ 506-8389-3769. They have a wide variety of the amount of passengers they can take. This was one of the most affordable companies we found, but there are plenty online that can be find by googling Costa Rica Transportation or Shuttles. Please note that guests will pay the shuttle company directly.
