The Wedding Website of Sara Brown and Ramiro León
Getting to the Venue: We recommend using Uber or Lyft for convenient and stress-free travel to and from the venue. Note, that we're not offering shuttle services. The venue does offer on-site parking for anyone driving. The closest CTA "L" stop is 'Irving Park' brown line, which is a 3 minute walk from the venue.

Flight

Chicago O'Hare International Airport

Chicago O'Hare International Airport is the primary international airport serving Chicago, Illinois, located on the city's Northwest Side, approximately 17 miles from the city's Loop business district. From the airport, you can take the CTA 'Blue Line' for an easy commute into the city. Rideshare options are also plentiful and easy to access.

Flight

Chicago Midway International Airport

Chicago Midway International Airport is a major commercial airport on the southwest side of Chicago, Illinois, located approximately 12 miles from the city's Loop business district. From the airport, you can take the CTA 'Orange Line' for an easy commute into the city. Rideshare options are also plentiful and easy to access.

Travel Note

Hotels

We do not have a reserved hotel block, but Chicago offers a wide range of hotels and accommodations to suit every style and budget. If you’d like suggestions or help finding a place to stay, please feel free to reach out to Sara or Ramiro. Many hotels are located downtown in “The Loop,” which is just about a 25-minute car ride from the venue.

Travel Note

Public Transportation

Chicago has an extensive public transportation system, and getting around without a car is easy. The “L” (short for “elevated”) trains run throughout the city, with lines color-coded (Red, Blue, Green, etc.) for easy navigation. The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) also operates a large network of buses that reach neighborhoods not directly served by the L. Both trains and buses use the same fare system, and you can purchase a reusable Ventra card at vending machines in stations or use contactless payment (credit card, Apple Pay, etc.) directly at the turnstiles and bus readers. Together, the L and buses are a reliable and budget-friendly way to explore Chicago’s neighborhoods, get downtown, and travel to and from the airports.

Travel Note

Rideshares

Rideshares like Uber and Lyft are widely available throughout Chicago and are one of the easiest ways to get around the city. Cars are typically just a few minutes away, whether you’re downtown or in the neighborhoods, and they provide a convenient option for traveling to and from the venue. Rideshares are especially handy if you’re unfamiliar with the city or prefer not to navigate public transit.
