Refer to the frequently asked questions (FAQs) below regarding our wedding! If we missed a question you still have, please send us a text and we will be happy to answer and update this section of our website.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is cocktail to black tie optional. This means that tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are cocktail dresses and suits. No jeans, and no white, unless you are the bride! If you have questions regarding attire, please reach out to the bride or groom.

How do I RSVP for the wedding?

Answer

Enclosed in your invitation, you should find an RSVP card with instructions for how to RSVP for the wedding. You may either RSVP through our wedding website under the “RSVP” section or by mailing in your RSVP card. If you decide to mail in your RSVP, please fill out the required information on the card, add a stamp in the top left corner, and place the card in your mailbox.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline for the reception is Friday, July 28, 2023. Kindly RSVP on or before this date! If you cannot attend, we will miss you, and would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity. If you miss the RSVP date, we may be unable to accommodate your presence at the wedding, as we will send the final headcount to vendors shortly after this deadline.

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Can I bring a date/guest?

Answer

Yes, if your wedding invitation is addressed to you “and Guest”, you are able to bring a guest.

Where are the ceremony and reception located and what time will they start?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation or visit the "Schedule" section of our website for information regarding the details of our wedding events.

Where should I park for the ceremony?

Answer

Parking for the ceremony will be provided at the Our Lady Star of the Sea Church parking lot and is free.

Where should I park for the reception?

Answer

Parking for the reception will be located at 50 West Montcalm Street, Detroit, MI 48201 and is free to all of our guests. Once you have arrived at the parking garage, you will follow these steps on the screen to enter the structure. 1. Select “OTHER ACCESS OPTIONS” 2. Select “I HAVE AN ACCESS CODE” 3. Input the access code “6192” and select “GO” 4. Once the access code is input, a ticket will print. This ticket must be used to exit the parking garage at the end of the night.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Please party accordingly and have a way to get home safely.

Am I invited to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner?

A separate invitation will be mailed to you if you are invited to the rehearsal/dinner!
