Maid of Honor
Heather and I have been roommates for the past two years. We met in college and became quick friends. She went to UI and I to WSU. After I had been living in moscow by myself for a few months, Heather and I decided to move in together. We share many interests and our sense of humor lines up perfectly. We are thick as thieves and have gone through a lot together. I am happy to call Heather my best friend.
Best Man
My older brother, in every sense of the word. But behind all the teasing and joking is a man I look up to, who has helped me through all the rough patches in my life. I look up to him and all that he has accomplished, and I know that I can talk with him without judgement, when we're not taunting each other over a board game.
Bridesmaid
I met Laura when I came to WSU, I took Bible Foundations from our church and Laura was the head secretary. After a few years I asked to join the Bible Foundations team. Laura called me up and asked me to be a secretary with her. And that was that. We got to know each other and got along very well. Over the years we grew close and talked about everything and anything. Laura has always been a rock in my life someone I can always count on and turn to.
Groomsman
Louis and I met our freshman year of college when we moved in together late one night, and we've been fast friends ever since. From late night conversations that had us crying with laughter, to deep discussions about the troubles in life, he's been there with me. It's been a blast building Legos and playing Super Smash Bros with this guy, and know there's so much more to come.
Bridesmaid
Devin and I went to CCF together and when I was looking for new roommates Devin was one of the girls I asked to be a roommate. We grew close as roommates and shared in many adventures, drama and fun. We shared a lot especially in the relationship department, I was honored to be apart of her wedding and I wouldn't dream of her not being in mine.
Groomsman
My oldest friend, we met when we were little at our church, and grew up together. I always enjoyed Calen's adventurous and silly nature. I have many fond memories of us trekking through the woods and playing in the streams, of learning photography and telling fantastical stories to pass the time. He's the only guy I'd trust to lead me up Mt. St. Helen's at 12:30 am!
Bridesmaid
I met Cera at our church when her sister in law asked us if she could join our DND group. She joined our group shortly after that and some shenanigans ensued because well its always fun to have a freind with the same name. We really connected we became a Hive Mind. We have shared in many adventures be them real or imaginary and have grown closer and closer. I was honored to be in her wedding and I wouldn't dream of her not being in mine.
Groomsman
I'd heard of Matt from several different people over the years, but I didn't really meet him until 2019, when we began playing D&D together. He's a guy that loves telling awesome stories, and I love being a part of those stories. Animated and enthusiastic but also serious when he needs to be, I'm glad to call him a friend and mentor.
Mother of the Bride
My mom has been with me through thick and thin. She raised me and my brother as a single mother, and taught me to be a strong woman. I couldn't ask for a better mom, nor would I want one. My mom is like my best friend. I know your parents aren't supposed to be your "best friends" but she is mine. I wouldn't be who I am today without my mom.
Honor Attendant
Roddy came into my life when my mom was ready to start dating. When she first introduced us I knew he was right for her. He treats her and all of us with an amazing amount of love and respect. In terms of step fathers I lucked out and got the best one.
Father of the Bride
While my dad wasn't around as much while I was growing up, he and I have mended our relationship and gotten a lot closer. His spiritual walk is something I have grown to look up to. He has grown so much and I have seen his struggles and his willingness to overcome those and be a better man and a better father. One of the things I always know that despite his past he has always loved my brother and I unconditionally. I love my dad and am honored to have him be apart of our big day.
Honor Attendant
How do I describe Kim? She is an amazing women of God, sweet as sweet can be, feisty, and just all around a wonderful woman. You always here of the evil step mother, but I am beyond thrilled to say that Kim doesn't fit in that mold. I love Kim and consider her my second mom. Gotta say Im pretty lucky to have not one but two great moms that I can look up to and talk to about anything.
Father of the Groom
My dad has always been someone I look up to. He taught me how to treat those around me, how to take care of myself, and how to love the outdoors. From taking me into our backyard to see the stars, to driving cross country to see as many sites as we could, he always worked to make sure we were happy and loved.
Mother of the Groom
My mom always made sure we had everything we needed to be happy and healthy. She taught me how to cook, was my first cub scout master, and even bought back the cake we made for a bake sale when I bid on it myself. I never wondered if she loved me, because she always made sure that I knew it. I love my mom!
Flower Grandma
My grandma is one of the strongest people I know, battling through so many things in her life but staying strong and feisty through it all. When I asked her to be the flower girl, while it may seem silly, I did this on purpose as I wanted her to be apart of this big day, she nearly cried. She has been incredibly supportive of everything I've done and my relationship with Jason. I'm honored to have her be apart of my big day.
Honor Attendant
My Papa, has been like a father figure to me since I was little. While my father wasnt always around hes been with us supporting us through thick and thin. Even while he was serving his country he would make sure my mom, brother and I were loved and taken care of. He is more than a grandfather hes my papa and I love him dearly.
Ring Bearer
When we broached the subject of Ring Bearer neither Jason nor I could come up with anyone suitable. Then the idea hit us, why not let Fezzik be the ring bearer? He just has to walk by us looking cute. I think he can accomplish that. At 4 years old and a super mutt he has kept me sane and helped me through really tough times by just being there for me. He may be simply a dog but he's my baby and I love him dearly.
Ring Bearer Wrangler
Lindsey has been an amazing friend for quite a few years, I've seen her grow and mature into an amazing woman. One of the things I love is her absolute unconditional love for all animals. Fezzik has a tendency to be very reactive to anyone he meets. Not Lindsey, he took to her right away and absolutely loves her. Anyone who can get a reactive dogs love that quickly definitely is someone I want to be friends with. Cause you know dogs can tell.
Usher
My little brother, Jake. He and I have been through a lot in our lives from and we have become stronger together. With the love and help of our family Jake has decided to enter the US Air Force. He is currently stationed in Korea and I could not be more proud of him. Even though he is my younger brother I will confidently say I look up to him, hes the best little brother a sister to ask for. I love and miss him every day but I know he is out in the world serving his coutry.
Usher
A friend to us both, it was Caleb who helped the two of us reconnect after we had drifted apart for a couple years. He invited me to play online games with Sara and Heather during Covid, and later got us all together to play board games. It is an honor to have him be part of our special day.
Officiant
When we were looking for an officiant our first choice was Pastor Joe, we were both influenced heavily by him and looked to him as our college pastor. He is an amazing man of God and we are honored to have him be apart of our big day.
Wedding Planner
Kaella and I met in college and we became quick friends. When we were looking for a coordinator for our wedding I could thing of anyone better and I didn't want anyone else. She has the vision, passion and stamina to do anything and everything. I am extremely excited that she agreed to be our coordinator cause I know she's the best for the job.
