Getting to Red River Flying Fly into Albuquerque, from there it's a 3-hour drive to Red River. The flight takes about 2 hours from DFW and 3 hours from Chicago. **We will be driving in from DFW and are happy to help coordinate carpools to and from the airport if needed.** Driving: From DFW: Red River is about an 11-hour drive. Jason and I have made the trip several times, it's not bad. Pro Tip: leave early, around 6 am. This will put you in Amarillo near lunch time and you will arrive in Red River by 5 pm. Beyond Amarillo, the towns get very spaced out and the dining options are limited. We also recommend Tyler's BBQ in Amarillo for all your luncheon needs. From Milwaukee: Google says it's a 19-hour drive to Red River. We have not attempted it and I'm not sure anyone else will either but technically it can be done!
