Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Sara Pirsa and Hunter Owens
We’re so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you! One thing to note is that Asheville is a popular destination in the summer time for people AND black bears. In the city of Asheville and the surrounding counties, over 25,000 black bears call this area home so be careful, and keep in mind if you see one... don't try to pet them.🙊

Blue Ridge Parkway

3884 Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville, NC 28803

Known as “America’s Favorite Drive” Blue ridge parkway is a 469-mile scenic road that connects Shenandoah National Park in Virginia to Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina. It is the longest linear park in America and known for its breathtaking mountain panoramic overlooks. So if you have the chance, we highly recommend taking a 20-30 minute drive along the parkway! You won’t regret it!😊
