The casino in Cherokee is on an Indian reservation. If you have a full day to spend in the Appalachian mountains, we highly recommend checking it out! The Cherokee welcome center is also known for beautiful hikes, fishing and a wide population of Elk in the area!
Known as “America’s Favorite Drive” Blue ridge parkway is a 469-mile scenic road that connects Shenandoah National Park in Virginia to Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina. It is the longest linear park in America and known for its breathtaking mountain panoramic overlooks. So if you have the chance, we highly recommend taking a 20-30 minute drive along the parkway! You won’t regret it!😊
