Maid of Honor
Sarah and Sara (I know, confusing) have known each other for 8 years now. After they first met, Sarah told Sara that she is so glad she is not a b*tch, and they’ve been besties ever since. They are opposite in so many ways, but that is why their friendship works. Sarah is always happy and caring, which brings that out of Sara. They are like the sun and moon. Although, they still have many things in common; one thing they have in common is their love for animals and wanting a farm. One day they will go half on a piece of property together and make the boys do all the work while they play with the animals and read books on the porch. Sara is very lucky to have met Sarah when she did and to have her by her side in life and on her wedding day.

Sara met CJ through her husband Dom, whom she trained jiujitsu with. (He likes it to be known Sara knew him first). CJ and Sara started to hangout more without Dom (sorry Dom) and clicked pretty fast. CJ is funny and sassy, which makes Sara laugh. She is not afraid to say what she thinks. Sara can trust her to give her real advice when it comes to anything. They enjoy getting sushi or relaxing and playing board games. Sara has been lucky to have met CJ (and Dom). And if Sara ever goes missing, Sara can depend on CJ to know where she is since she is always stalking her location.
Bridesmaid
Sara and Liz met back in around 2017 at a MMA gym. They both did Muay Thai together, but never really talked. They both believed one another hated each other. One day they realized that neither hated each other, they both just have a RBF. Sara and Liz then became friends and good training partners in Muay Thai and eventually jiujitsu. They enjoy trying different sushi places and hiding the unfinished sushi so they do not get charged extra, or seeing a new movie (especially if it stars Michael B. Jordan). Liz is always caring, in a good mood, and down to do anything. She will drive to Tucson with Sara to watch Gabriel compete or fly to California to watch her compete. Sara also knows Liz is down to throw hands with someone if needed.
Bridesmaid
Taylor is Sara’s sister-in-law. Taylor is a firefighter, and Sam introduced them when Sara was first interested in being a firefighter. Sara started going to Taylor’s station to workout and learn more about firefighting. Sara knew almost nothing about firefighting, so it was helpful to learn from Taylor, as well as seeing her kick ass in workouts. It made Sara want to do the same and to be respected by the guys, just like Taylor was. She is definitely a good match for Sam and Sara is happy to have her as a sister and happy that Sam is happy. Taylor is funny, laid back, and won’t put up with anyone’s crap, not even Sam’s. She is blunt, just like the rest of the Olguin family. She is also caring and cares about Sam and the family. Although she is strong and good at jiujitsu, Sara can still beat her ass.
Best Man
What can I say about my brother Oscar. I’ve known him my whole life, we have done everything together from traveling to doing martial arts pretty much our whole life. We are very different and at the same time very similar, he is more than my bother he is also my best friend. We have so many good and bad memories together and gone through a lot of wild life changing experiences, but at the end of the day we always pull through together. My brother is one of the toughest SOB I know and a great training partner, he is always aiming to do more, even when he does not want to, always dragging me along with. Even though I’m the oldest brother, I look up to my little brother, I will always love that mmg. My bro and I would always end up going to some wild adventures and getting into trouble, one time we were exploring my aunts property in a mountain, found an “abandoned” car and started to destroy it like it was the “Street Fighter” video game. We did get into a ton of trouble. We would go to my aunt’s hotel and explore the beach and all of the boats that were stored on the pier. I could go on and on about all of our adventures.
Groomsman
Mario and I met when we were 7 years old, he was the “cool kid” of the school. To me Mario will always be like an older brother, we didn’t start to hangout until his family moved 2 houses down from mine. I always thought he was such a dope kid and wanted to be like him. We clicked immediately, he was always trying to do some type of crazy adventures, either biking and exploring a mountain or finding some sport to try. He would always scare my bullies away and tell me I have to stand up for myself, when we first met I was a very soft kid. He showed me how to be tough and never take shit from anyone, to always fight for what I love and never give up. Mario is my oldest friend and a person who I will always look up to. He planted some type of adventure seed on me which I still have. Because of Mario I am so passionate about martial arts, he started and I followed. Because of him I am the martial artist I am today. Until this day he is still introducing me to new adventures and hobbies. I will always be thankful.

Gerardo was my first friend when I moved to AZ, his friendship felt very natural. Not knowing English and in a new country he was so much help to my family and me, Gerardo became a best friend and a brother very quickly. Always inviting me and my brother to parties, family cook outs or just to hangout. The 3 of us would always be together doing a ton of stuff, getting food, going to the mall or whatever. Gerardo and I decided to have couple of parties at his house which turned out to be a mini project x. One of our parties got so wild with people we didn’t know, someone posted it on Craigslist and we had all types of people there, we had to hire security and things got pretty wild. Gerardo made me fall in love with tuner/JDM cars, we would always go watch drag races, drift and illegal fights. One of the memories that would always stay with me it was the time my bro, Gerardo, and I went to his friends body shop late at night to play Call of Duty MW3 while everyone else was partying. He introduced my bro and I to his friend group as one of his own and they all accepted us. Gerardo and I were always trying to find a reason to drink and party and I’d always be thankful for him, his friendship and how he would always cover for me with my mom.
Groomsman
I met Alejandro when we were around 13 years old at the movies. We clicked right away and found out we had so much in common. The very next day I invited him over my house to play Play Station 1, which he happened to also have as well, after that day we became inseparable, and our families were some what intertwined with beach businesses which we had no idea about. Alejandro was born in Cuba and always swore that he was part of the “Cuban X-Men force”. We were always trying to find a way to be rich and famous by doing a ton of random stuff online, either trying to dance, doing trick with nunchucks or bo staff, pranks and a ton more. We were always trying to hit on older women and would always get into trouble. I had to transfer schools and ended up going to Alejandro’s school, long story short we both were failing badly because we did nothing but joke around and get into trouble. His mom ended up transferring him to a different school.
Groomsman
I met Leo in high school through mutual friends, but didn’t really kick it a lot outside of those mutual friends. Years later he shows up to the gym, signs up, and started training with us. My brother, Leo, and I’s relationship felt so normal, like we’ve been friends since day one. My brother and Leo got an apartment together next to Sara and I and from there our friendship took off. Leo is someone who is always DOWN to do anything, Leo will go anywhere with my brother and I no questions asked, he gives 100% of his support to us expecting nothing back. One of my best friends, I’ve never seen anyone eat the amount of food this dude can eat. We would go out and he would eat his mountain of food plus whatever my bro and I wouldn’t eat. I also call Leo, the homie sleepy, because he would just sit down and pass out anywhere anytime and have the deepest sleep.
Officiant
Joey is a friend who met Gabriel at the gym. Sara and Gabriel knew they wanted their officiant to be bilingual, but they also wanted someone who was a friend and knew them personally. Joey started to hangout out more, going to Docs to watch UFC fights, going to Sara and Gabriel’s pool parties, and became one of “the boys”. While thinking of who to ask to be their officiant, they both thought of Joey. They want a quick but personal ceremony with a couple jokes, and knew Joey should be the one.
Usher
Ken and Gabriel met 7 years ago at Jay Pages. Gabriel did not think Ken would stay a long time, but now he won’t leave. Ken is one of Gabriel’s best friends now. They enjoy doing nothing together. Gabriel wanted to include Ken in the wedding some way because he means a lot to him. Because of Ken, Gabriel does not drink tequila anymore.
Usher
Dom started to train jiujitsu at Sara’s gym and they eventually became friends. Sara did not think Dom would last longer than a week and now he is a purple belt and they do crossfit together. Sara then became besties with his wife, CJ, who is a bridesmaid. They feed Sara like she is their adopted child and are always willing to watch Willow. Sara wanted to include Dom in the wedding some way because he has been a very good friend to her.
Flower Girl
Sara has always loved animals and grew up with a dog. She would always send pictures of dogs that needed to be rescued to Gabriel, but then would say never mind because they live in an apartment. One day she came across Willow’s picture at the shelter and knew she needed her. She sent the picture to Gabriel and he agreed they needed her. It was love at first sight and they adopted Willow that day with zero dog items or a plan. They had to go to the store that day to get basic items and as Willow was in the shopping cart, she decided to take a big, runny poop. She has been a great addition to their little family. She is their crazy baby and they are excited to see her as their flower girl. She is the reason why no kids are allowed.
