Gabriel and Sara met about 10 years ago at an old gym called, Power MMA. Neither one of them expected to be getting married 10 years later. Sara always knew Gabriel as the guy that did Jiujitsu and worked at the front desk. When Power closed down, they went their own ways and Sara eventually started working at a MMA gym. That is where she started to do muay thai and jiujitsu. Gabriel’s first jiujitsu coach, Kiko, who was also at Power, was now teaching at the gym Sara worked at. Kiko then became Sara’s first jiujitsu coach and one day, Gabriel walked in to do one of his classes. That is when Sara recognized him and mentioned it has been so long since they’ve seen each other. They have been inseparable since, turning a friendship into a relationship and bonding over jiujitsu. Dating for 6 years now (7 right before the wedding), it is crazy to think how far they have come and that neither of them imagined dating each other when they first met, let alone get married. Now they are each other’s best friends and cannot wait to spend forever together.
