Most of the weekend is nice-casual, but for our wedding night black tie is strongly preferred. This means tuxedos or black suits and floor-length gowns/formal cocktail dresses. Guests wearing heels should be advised the cocktail hour is on grass, so please plan accordingly (stilettos are not recommended). Color and patterns are welcome, but we kindly request that guests refrain from wearing white. Rental reccos: The Black Tux, Rent the Runway
During the ceremony: No Cocktail hour and reception: Yes Our *ceremony* will be "unplugged" and we're asking that all guests put away their cell phones so that our professional photographer can capture our ceremony uninterrupted. We know it's tempting but it's extremely important to us that guests respect this rule. Feel free to take pictures during the cocktail hour and reception, and to post on social media using our hashtag #ForYouIWilliams.
Friday and Saturday: No Sunday brunch: Yes We love kids, but Friday and Saturday are 21+ events. Children in the wedding will be allowed, so if you see them around, we appreciate your understanding. We recognize some guests may opt to bring their children and have child care, so please feel free to bring your kids to brunch (just let us know). If you need help coordinating local child care, please contact our wedding planner Lissa Marie: lissamarieweddingsandevents@gmail.com.
Please arrive by 4:15pm so you have time for a welcome drink, mingling and to get seated. Our ceremony starts PROMPTLY at 5pm and anyone arriving after 4:50 will not be seated.
Please indicate vegetarian or vegan on your RSVP. If you have a serious allergy or other dietary concern, please contact our wedding planner Lissa Marie (lissamarieweddingsandevents@gmail.com) so we can do our best to accommodate you.
Leesburg is about 15 minutes from Dulles International Airport, and while Uber and Lyft are available, our wedding weekend will be a busy one for the town. To avoid long waits or possible unavailability, we’d recommend renting a car. We will also have shuttles available on Saturday only, please RSVP.
Yes! We will have two shuttle busses making one trip from each hotel to the wedding venue. One early shuttle back will be available, as well as shuttles at the end of the evening. Each shuttle will depart the hotels at 4pm, and return at the end of the evening. One shuttle will stop at our after party location before returning to the hotel. We'll continue to update with details as we get closer to the event.
Yes, there is free parking at Raspberry Plain Manor and at our after party location.
If your date’s name is listed on your invitation, or you have an invitation for yourself “and guest,” you may bring a date. Otherwise, we are at capacity and cannot accommodate additional “plus ones.” We appreciate your understanding!
Your presence at our special weekend is the best present! If you're looking to give a gift, please consider contributing towards our honeymoon. Please see the Registry page for more details.

We are optimistic the situation around COVID will continue to improve as we move into 2022. We will monitor things and update our plans as developments occur. We will always support the safety and comfort of our guests: masks, social distancing and other precautions.
The average temperature in Leesburg in May is in the mid- high 70s during the day and 50s at night. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, and the reception is indoors. In case of rain, the ceremony and cocktail hour will move indoors. Again, we ask our guests wearing heels to wear shoes that are comfortable on grass and variable footing (stilettos are not recommended).
