FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5:00pm EST. Please be seated in the theater 10-15 minutes prior to that.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are trying to be mindful of the space at our reception venue and of the ongoing pandemic, so we are asking that only those invited attend the event.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

When we initially were planning this event, we thought it would be fun to have guests bring their kids. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic, the fact that children are unable to be vaccinated and trying to make space at the venue we are having to restrict children from attending with the exception of any children from the wedding party. We are truly sorry if this restriction makes attending difficult or impossible for those of you with children.

Question

What precautions are you taking for COVID-19?

Answer

- We have limited our guest list in order to maximize the amount of space at our venues. - Masks are encouraged but not required to be worn when not eating or drinking. Please bring your masks with you that you find comfortable to use. In addition, we will be providing disposable masks near the front door of the ceremony. During the ceremony, the wedding party will be on a stage many feet away from the audience. - Our ceremony venue is a large classic theater and there is capacity for 9x greater than our attendance will be. There is not assigned seating and so guests are encouraged to spread out while viewing the ceremony. - Hand sanitizer pods will also be provided and we encourage guests to use them throughout the evening.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our preferred dress code is dressy casual/cocktail attire, please. In addition, if guests would like to dress in our theme styled around 1920s attire, it is encouraged but not required.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are asking for all RSVPs to be in no later than October 3rd. You can return the mailed invitations or you can respond via the online form here on Zola at the top of the page under the heading "RSVP".

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Wayne Densch Theater does not have dedicated parking and relies on street parking and small lots surrounding the theater in Downtown Sanford. Similarly, the reception venue The Women's Club of Sanford does not have a dedicated parking lot but it is located within walking distance about 2-3 blocks of the theater. You can find a parking map of the area here: https://ibb.co/hmnBSMb
