Throw a stick in MHK and odds are you'll hit a delicious, local coffee shop. Coffee shops is one of the top three things Sara misses about Manhattan. Chai lattes are life, and Starbucks just doesn't cut it. Coffee shop chai is the way to go.
If you know you know. These donuts are next level. 10/10 recommend the blueberry opal. Thursday-Saturday nights, the Varsity truck is a thing from 9pm-2am.. and what a wonderous thing it is. You MUST try a grilled cheese mac 'n' cheese if you go. Just trust us on this one. (Sara is also a big fan of corndogs.) Of course, they also have donuts--both fresh and warm, and cheap leftovers from that day. So, so good.
This is Sara's favorite breakfast place in Manhattan. It's usually pretty blasted busy on the weekends, so go at your own risk. While you wait, they have delicious cocktails you can drink in the waiting area/outside.
This is the taco truck we went to during our engagement photoshoot. It. Is. Delicious.
Manhattan's zoo is actually pretty great! Most of it is outside, so the weather will play a factor in how enjoyable this venture would be.
Fun, interactive shebang for the kiddos!
Hike the Konza, go look at the pretty view from Top of the World or Scenic Overview, and sit in the A-hole at Manhattan Hill--for the outdoorsy folks!
If you know, you know. Aggieville is a conglomeration of stores, restaurants, and bars. The time of the game is TBD, but Aggieville will have quite a few K-State fans. That being said, it's a pretty neat place. Sara recommends checking it out. The bride and groom are going to Aggieville after the reception for a cocktail at Auntie Mae's, a Belfast at O'Malley's, and who knows what else. Anyone is welcome to join us!
