we met on Facebook (for refence I was 19 and he was 20), we were both on a reptile group. he messaged me first and we immediately hit it off. we talked for a few months before he asked me to be his girlfriend on June 5th 2019. we had so much in common and were so alike, it was so easy to be with him ( still is) a year into our relationship on Valentines Day he gave me a promise ring and said that one day he promises to replace it with an engagement ring and that we would be married! we were dating for 5 years, long distance was hard but it made us stronger as a couple and was a daily reminder that we could get through anything as long as we were together.

The day started out normal, Tyler wanted to go the beach ( big Talbot island) to take some pictures, nothing out of the ordinary for a Saturday, it was a little suspicious because it was 10am in the morning but I went along with it. When we got there we headed to the beach and he got his camera set up and I went walking down the beach and he kept saying that I had to stay close because it was really windy, in my head I was like I'm a grown woman I'm not gonna blow over lol. He eventually walked me over to his marked spot on the beach, and got down on one knee and said a little speech and asked me to marry him!! it was defiantly the most special day of all time! and of course he had someone to take photos of everything!!
