Maid of Honor
Maggie has been my best friend since college! I met her during the first week of college; we were placed in the same group, called an alpha group, during Welcome Week. Maggie and I were pretty much inseparable after we first met. We hung out so much during our first year and then had the privilege of becoming roommates during our second year. Even after graduating, we have remained close friends to this day. I am honored and blessed to have her stand by my side.
Gabe Cleveland
Best Man
Gabe and I met on our first day at Anderson University after we both transferred in. We quickly bonded over our shared interests and found ourselves at many of the same events. We even ended up in the same Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) community group that year. Before our second year, I convinced Gabe to become my roommate, and we spent the next two years living together, hosting game nights, and playing way too many social deduction games. Gabe knows me better than most, and his calm nature always balances out my chaos. He’s the perfect person to keep me on track, which is why I couldn’t ask for a better best man.
Grace Glover

I had the privilege of meeting Grace on several different occasions during my first year of college. After initially meeting in a science lab class, we met again as student workers for our university's admissions program. We became really close friends during the beginning of my second year. I then had the privilege of being housemates with her during my final year. God truly knew what he was doing when He put Grace in my life. She is such a compassionate, loyal friend who goes above and beyond for everyone in her life. I could not imagine this special day without her.
Bryce Tessmann

As my older brother by two years, Bryce has been a part of my life from the very beginning. We grew up side by side, sharing countless family experiences and more than a few epic board game nights (which I have Bryce to thank for getting me hooked on). When I started college, Bryce and his wife welcomed me into their home, giving me a place to stay and making me feel like part of their family. He’s always been intentional and supportive, so it’s only fitting that he stands by me as one of my groomsmen.

I met Liv on the very first day of college. After I was placed in an alpha group for Welcome Week, Liv was the first person in that group to come up to me and introduce herself. Liv and I became close during our first year of college and have remained close to this day. Between coffee dates, walks around campus, and late night drives, spending time together never got tiresome. I am incredibly grateful for our friendship and for the ways that she continually points me to Jesus.
David Tessmann
Groomsman
David is my younger brother by two and a half years, and we’ve always shared a lot of the same experiences growing up. Whether it was playing games or getting into something new, David was usually right there with me. Being his older brother has been a lot of fun, and I’ve loved seeing him grow into the easygoing and kind person he is today. He’s one of the nicest people I know, and I’m grateful to have him by my side. I’m really happy to have him with me on such an important day.
Bree Holland

I have been friends with Bree since freshman year of high school! Within the first week of school, I introduced myself to her in a math class that we were both placed in. We began spending time together and became really close friends. Despite now living further apart and rarely seeing each other, we can still pick up our conversations right where we left off. I am so grateful to have a friend like her; her loyalty and sacrificial love for her loved ones is truly commendable. I am honored that she gets to stand by my side on this special day.
Joshua McDaniel

Josh is my cousin and just a year younger than me. We’ve been close since we were kids, seeing each other at family gatherings, and staying connected through regular gaming sessions. If you ever hear Josh cracking jokes, just know he’s been copying me since we were little, even down to his gamertag! He’s my lifelong friend, and thinks he’s funny (he’s really not), but somehow he still manages to keep me laughing. There’s no way I’d get married without him standing by me.
Addie Warren

Addie is a dear friend from college that I had the privilege of meeting through my other friend, and bridesmaid, Grace. Addie and I initially met during my second year of college but began deepening our friendship the following year. Addie is truly one of the sweetest people I know with a true heart of compassion and love for others. She is always so genuine with listening and giving advice; we end up having some of the best conversations. I am so thankful that I have been able to become close friends with her.
Caleb McDaniel

Caleb, Josh’s younger brother, is two years younger than me, and I’ve watched him grow from a squeaky-voiced kid into a manly man. We’ve shared a lot of time together, especially playing games and joking around. Caleb has always been the one who gets my sense of humor more than anyone, and I like to think I’ve had a hand in shaping him into who he is today. He’s a good friend and cousin, and I’m glad to have him as part of the crew on my wedding day.

Jen is who I am proud to call my sister-in-law. I have known her for about five years, and I am so grateful that she is a part of the family and able to keep my brother in line. She is so kind and welcoming to all. I had the honor of standing by her side when she got married and now I am honored to have her stand with me.
Jacob Santel

I met Jacob during my first year at AU through RUF, and he was one of the few other first-years involved that year. While we couldn’t get him to live with us during our second year, we succeeded in bringing him into the fold for year three! Jacob’s calming presence and genuine care for others make him one of the best people to have around. He’s always thinking of others, and I’m lucky to call him a friend and have him with me on my big day.
Jordan Tessmann

Jordan is Cade’s sister-in-law and a proud member of the Tessmann family. I’ve known her since the beginning of Cade and I’s relationship. Between board game nights hosted by her and her husband, pickleball dates, and photographing Cade’s proposal, there has never been a dull moment. Jordan is such a fun person to be around, and I’m so glad that we will be part of the Tessmann team together.
Elijah Clarke

Elijah and I met through RUF during my first year at AU, though he’d already been there a year. Despite me technically being his elder, Elijah was always the one inviting me to hang out with his friends, and during my fourth year, we ended up as housemates. Elijah is hilarious, deeply invested in whatever he does, and someone who puts his heart into everything. I know I can count on him to bring his full energy to the wedding, and I’m thrilled to have him standing with me.
