They had mutual friends all throughout their time at Marquette University, had a few business classes together, and with the right timing, she finally put her number in his phone while they were out at The Garage (a bar in Milwaukee). Robb planned out every aspect of their first date, and he set the bar high by making dinner reservations at a Brazilian steakhouse. He picked her up from her apartment and had flowers waiting for her in the front seat. The night ended with them running down a hill, to a beautiful area overlooking Milwaukee and Lake Michigan. They knew more unforgettable memories were in store for their future!

Living in San Diego had always been a dream for Tin, and she was ecstatic when Robb expressed his enthusiasm in wanting to live somewhere new too! They drove cross country from Chicago (they actually left from Des Plaines, for you Chicagoans) to San Diego with their fur baby, Logan. They stopped in Omaha, which is where Robb's parents first settled after moving from the Philippines, drove through a mountain snowstorm in Denver, made stops throughout Utah to admire the mountains, and stayed with Tin's family in Las Vegas before they made it home to San Diego.

Robb tricked Tin into thinking they were just showing their Chicago friends around in San Diego. He took her to the sunset painted ocean, got down on one knee, and asked her to be with him forever! Tin was caught off guard with all the surprises he had planned on this special occasion. Along with the proposal, he made dinner reservations by the ocean, and surprised her once more with their friends awaiting their arrival on a rooftop bar! She was filled with emotions of joy and excitement as they entered the next chapter in their lives.
