Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see our Travel page for more information on our hotel block.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please feel free to wear semi-formal wedding attire or traditional hindu attire for both ceremonies. We want you to be comfortable for the whole day! Also, we would like to mention that the Christian Ceremony will be outside so please check the weather, you never know what will happen in Denver in May!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The Hindu Ceremony will start with the Baraat at 1pm so please be there shortly before to be able to participate. The Ceremony itself will begin immediately after. The Christian Ceremony will begin at 5:30pm, we ask that you be there shortly before to make yourselves comfortable.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at the Hindu Temple of Colorado, and we recommend driving to that. There is also parking at Church Ranch Event Center (for the Christian Ceremony and Reception) however, we recommend that you park at the Denver Marriott Westminster if you are staying there and you will be able to take the complimentary shuttle to and from the venue.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremonies?

Answer

We recommend you rent a car or use Uber/Lyft/Taxi's for the Hindu Ceremony as there is no group transportation set up. There will be a complimentary shuttle from the Denver Marriott Westminster to Church Ranch Event Center for the Christian Ceremony and Reception for guests who book a room there under our wedding block.

Question

What should I do during the break between the ceremonies?

Answer

There will be about a 2 hour break after the Hindu Ceremony and before the Christian Ceremony during which time we recommend getting settled in at your hotel if you have not already. It's about a 30 minute drive from the Hindu Temple of Colorado to the Denver Marriott Westminster. For those coming in from another country, please be aware that Saturday is "Cinco de Mayo" which is a Mexican holiday that is celebrated here with great enthusiasm. If you go to a Mexican restaurant there will most likely be larger crowds and long waits.
