We're getting married!

Saniha and Kunal met at UC Berkeley through mutual friends. They went on their first date to the Big C - a short, but very uphill trek that leads to (you might have guessed it) a big letter C and views of the Campanile (UC Berkeley clock tower), Golden Gate bridge, and San Francisco skyline. This kicked-off the next decade of adventure spanning Berkeley, San Francisco, and New York!

Saniha and Kunal went back to the ol' stomping grounds at Berkeley to watch big game (Cal vs. Stanford) where Kunal had planned a full day of surprises. After a nostalgic walk through campus and a stop at Cafe Strada, Saniha and Kunal hiked up to the Big C. There, Kunal asked Saniha to marry him at the same spot where they had gone for their first date! Their siblings were hiding at the top of the Big C to surprise them and took them to the next stop where more friends and family were waiting for a full day of celebrations. The proposal must have been good luck because on this same day Berkeley beat Stanford for the first time in 10 years!

Mexico City was one of the first trips we took together and still remains one our favorite places. The vibrant culture, historic architecture, savory food, friendly people, and the endless abundance of mezcal are just some of the things we love. We loved it so much, we subsequently returned on additional trips to see more of the city. We're so excited to host our wedding weekend in Mexico City where we can share this with our friends and family and bring our favorite parts of the city into our wedding celebrations!
