FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask for all guests to arrive 45 minutes before the ceremony start time (arrive by 4:15 pm). We will be featuring an interactive guestbook for guests to participate in prior to the ceremony. This guest book activity will take longer than a usual guestbook (~10-15 minutes per person). Thus, we recommend for guests to consider arriving to the venue by 4:15 pm so that there is adequate time to find parking, locate and walk to the ceremony space, and complete the guest book activity. The venue is located within the Encanterra golf course, but the GPS should lead you directly to the venue if you type in "Weddings - La Casa at Encanterra" into your GPS. The address should show up as 36460 N. Encanterra Dr. in Queen, Creek, AZ. We advise for guests to start driving early as there could be traffic or difficulty finding the venue since the ceremony space is located within a large golf course. Depending on which direction you are driving form, you may encounter a gate to enter the golf course. If you do encounter this, drive to the lane that says "Guests" and inform the staff you are attending a wedding at Encanterra and they will open a gate for you. Please note, there is also an entrance to the golf course that does not have a gate. Since you may encounter needing to enter via a gate at one of the entrances to the golf course, we strongly recommend for guests to add at least 20 minutes on top of the GPS estimated travel time to account for any difficulty finding the venue and/or traffic. Please follow the GPS for "Weddings - La Casa at Encanterra" until it takes you to the guest parking lot. From the parking lot, it will take you 5-10 minutes to find and walk to the ceremony space. There should be a large water fountain as you walk near the building and there will be signage directing you to the ceremony space. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 pm.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Please type "Weddings - La Casa at Encanterra" into your GPS. The address for "Weddings - La Casa at Encanterra" should show the address of 36460 N. Encanterra Dr. in Queen, Creek, AZ. This should lead you directly to the venue. Depending on which direction you are traveling from the GPS may lead you to an entrance to the golf course that has a gate. If you encounter this, there will be a lane that says "Guests" and a lane that says "Member". Please drive into the lane that says "Guests". A staff member will be standing by the "Guest" lane. Please inform the staff you are attending a wedding and they will open the gate. From there, please continue following the GPS for "Weddings - La Casa at Encanterra" until it leads you to the venue. There should be a very large parking lot for you to park at. From the parking lot, it should be a short walk (~5-10 min to find the Welcome Table & Ceremony spot). For all guests, we recommend incorporating an additional 20 min time on top of the estimated GPS travel time. For example, if your GPS estimates a 30 minute travel and time and you plan to arrive by 4:15 pm, we recommend leaving between 3:25-3:30 pm so that you have adequate time to account for traffic, find the venue, walk to the ceremony location, use the restroom, work on the guestbook, and select seats for the ceremony. For those with a long commute and/or traveling from out of town, we recommend that you account for extra time for the drive as there can be traffic during the weekends.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our theme is garden formal attire. We suggest for guests to wear their favorite pastels/spring look. Please see the "Formal Garden Party" tab on the website for examples of outfits and colors scheme. For women, we suggest formal long or cocktails style dresses in pastel colors (light pinks, light oranges, light yellows, light blues, light greens, light purples etc.) and/or in spring florals. For men, we suggest lighter colored formal suits. However, please note that the dress code is only a suggestion and it is not mandatory. We ultimately would love all of our guests to dress in whatever they color they feel most comfortable wearing!

Question

Can I bring a date or can I change my plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding day special and intimate, we have decided to keep our wedding guest list limited to our family and close friends. Consequently, we are able to offer a plus-one to only significant others of family members/relatives and only to significant others of friends whom we personally know. Each invitation will list all of the names of the individuals invited. If your invitation lists your partner's name, but if your partner is unable to attend, please RSVP only for yourself. Unfortunately we will not be able to allow guests to change/swap out their plus one if their plus-one on the invitation cannot attend. We appreciate you for being understanding!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be plenty of free parking at the venue! The parking lot is fairly large, but please note that depending where you park, it may take anywhere from a 5-10 minute walk to the Welcome Table. Please account for walking time + travel time + additional time in case you have difficulty finding the venue or in case there is traffic when planning for when to start your commute to the venue.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love all your little ones, we are currently able to only accomodate children of our families/relatives and children of our bridal party. We respectfully request for no other children under 18 at the wedding. However, we ask that if there is any guest who is unable to find a sitter and/or unable to attend if they are unable to bring their children, please do not hesitate to reach out to Sandy directly to see if we are able to accomodate.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We are so grateful for your presence to our wedding. For those who wish to give a gift, a monetary contribution towards our Japan honeymoon fund would help jumpstart our newlywed life.

Question

Will our wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors while the reception will be indoors. Guests will walk through a designated pathway to our welcome table and may take their seats after they arrive.

Question

Is there assigned seating?

Answer

For the ceremony, the first couple of rows will be reserved for close family, but aside from that, please sit wherever you wish! There will be no assigned sides of the aisle to sit on. Please pick a seat, not a a side ◡̈ For the reception, there will be assigned seating. Please check the seating chart during cocktail hour to find your table.

Question

What is the menu for the reception?

Answer

The reception will be a buffet styled dinner coupled dessert experience. The menu will have vegetarian, gluten-free, and meat options to accomodate various dietary restrictions. We will have some items on the menu with dairy and advise for those who are lactose intolerant to bring Lactaid! We would love all our guests to come hungry and eat to their hearts content!

Question

Can I golf at the country club?

Answer

Unfortunately, the golf course is open to only those who live in the Encanterra community. However, there are many golf courses located throughout the cities in the greater Phoenix area for those who love to golf!
