If you plan on bringing your car!

If you plan on bringing a car, you can book it on the Steamship Authority Ferry. These car reservations book-up early, so it is important to reserve your space in January 2020. If you are planning on staying for one or two nights, I don’t think a car is necessary to book. There are many taxis available for transportation. If you are planning on staying longer it may be cheaper to bring your vehicle. The parking lots located near the ferries off island charge a daily fee for parking. The steamship website has information on where to park, tickets, and schedules.
